This week's Wonderful Treasure Find is supposed to be a bunny hood for dogs to wear. We saw happy pictures of happy Pekingese dogs wearing these hoods. So we bought it. Spudgy's reaction was not what we expected.

OMG!!!! ROTFL!!! I nearly died from laughter. Spudgy is too funny. And I totally roll my own dog over like that. When I brush him, he lays down on one side and I have to physically turn him over to brush the other side.

Usually we shower our dog with an incredible amount of praise when we put clothes on him. Then, he bathes in the glory of being called a "smart, handsome, cute, beautiful" dog, over and over and over again. Putting on clothes becomes associated with being a good thing to him, unless he really hates it.

I actually read somewhere that smaller animals like rabbits, hamsters and the like don't like wearing those pet clothes because the sensation of something tight against their skin makes them feel threatened, like they're trapped in a predator's clutches. Not sure how true this is, but it does seem to make sense.

I love my dog so much. He loves putting on outfits. And I'm not just saying that ... he won't go for a walk unless he has his coat and hat on, and sometimes I have to search my house for up to an hour to make him take it off. I have no idea where he hides.
And he has a scarf that he wears all the time. I had to buy a second one because when I take it off to wash he cries until I put it back on.
Also ... booties. Omg the cutest thing ever.

Spudgy had the same reaction as my dogs when I try to put a cute Halloween bandana on them. Yup...They were totally not having that.

Pekingese are very vocal animals. Mine sounds alot like a cute little pig. And they snore so loudly!

@xxKTxx00 The shirt is saying "I spade seals." It is a symbol from playing cards... But the sad thing is... most of the world's seal hunting takes place in Canda and a traditional way they kill the seals is to use a hakapik. The hakapik is a heavy club with a hammer head & hook on the end. It's considered more efficient because the hammer head is used to crush the skulls of the seals and the hook is used to drag/carry the carcasses away...
Ahh... But I suppose people find that funny.

Spudgy looks exactly like my Kaytee!! (not the peke in my profile pic, his Momma does). I love the blue color! My peke is very open to being dressed in outfits, but when it comes to hats she freaks. I think most dogs object to things covering their heads.

My friend has a something like a Cat hood(?)- with cat ears for dogs - and her dog loves it.The dog really likes it he doesn't want to go out without it O.O
