Some things are just too good to repeat often. That's certainly the case with this one, but we won't stop you from trying! Chef Tom makes smash burgers from Creekstone Brisket Burger Pucks on the Yoder Smokers YS640s pellet grill and then uses Krispy Kreme donuts for the buns. Prepared on the Yoder Smokers Cast Iron Griddle, and then coated with Kozlik's Amazing Maple mustard and Dilly pickles from Kansas City Canning Co. Would love to see Tom's all out backyard brisket that's more complex than Texas style.
A local burger place does a special every now and then where they use maple glazed donuts from a local bakery for buns and it is absolutely phenomenal. This reminds me a lot of that and even though I shouldn't eat one, I think I might need to eat half a dozen or so.

In my neck of the woods we have a bread company that makes a cookie with bacon in it and it's really good,that being said I would definitely give a donut smash burger a try

I am so glad that my parents told my brothers and I to not say no to some food because of preconceived notions. Try it and if you don't like, fine. Well, preconceived notions or not, it all sounds great. I don't have a griddle but I am guessing I could do it all in a cast-iron skillet. I just need to find a Krispy Kreme by me (I moved here recently, so I have not searched for them). I've never tried maple mustard. Sounds good too. Thanks.

Whats been going on with the videos lately? Been following you guys for 5-6 years and the videos were longer and more involved. Now all the vids are under 5 mins and simple recipes. Pls reconsider this change.

I'd certainly love this....but probably only 2 or 3 times a year. That sweet/savory thing that has been in vogue for about 20 years now just isnt my thing on a regular basis.
