I would still make five changes to this team, and keep Bumrah as Captain. Some players elevate their performance when given the captaincy and Bumrah seems one such guy. Never seen him so fired up and leading from the front taking responsibility so well in any other match. He was really fired up and displayed great leadership and field placings all around. Besides, Sharma just lost a historic series as captain and still had the audacity to spend one additional week after his wife's delivery instead of taking the responsibility as captain to not miss the all important first test of a critically important series. Shows his priorities are not right. I would also have him come down at 6, and let KL open with YJ. He has displayed remarkable focus and skill as an opener, and that seems to be his natural place where he can finally get to fulfil his potential at last. The 200 run opening partnership was perfect and dont break something working so fantastically well. My team for the pink ball test in Adelaide: 1. KL Rahul 2. YJ 3. Gill 4. Kohli 5. Pant 6. Rohit 7. Jadeja 8. Ashwin 9. Shami 10. Bumrah (c) 11. Siraj Ash is the second best off spinner of all time in Test history, behind only the master Murali. Aus have 4 left handers in their lineup and Ash has the best record of all bowlers currently playing Test cricket against lefties. He and Jadeja combined have close to 900 wickets. Washi is only 6 runs ahead of Ash in FC test BATTING average, whereas there is no comparison between their bowling, Ash is superior by very very far. He also had Smith as his bunny on a few Tests. As to comparison between Jadeja and NKR, again there is no comparison. NKR averages 21 with the bat in FC, Jadeja's is more than double that. He is a clever bowler and a gun fielder. It is for a reason he is the best allrounder in world cricket at the moment. NKR batted decently in the first test (albeit he could not make a half century) but with the ball he looked completely innocuous and let off the pressure built at the other end. He never looked threatening and never looked like taking a wicket, except he got one through a fluke inside edge. NKR's 120kph military medium is nothing more than cannon fodder. Even Marnus Labuschagne was able to bowl mid 130Ks. Yes he batted decently, but he has a FC average 21 with just 1 century. Jadeja more than doubles this average with 13 centuries. Further, Jadeja is likely the best fielder in the world at present in addition to being the best allrounder. NKR looked useless as a bowler. Having 5 worldclass bowlers operate together will be unplayable for Aussies. No respite. Three genuine fast bowlers are enough. NKR brings nothing to the table as a fast bowler and his batting in long format is unproven to say the least. As to Rohit, I believe representing the nation is a huge honor that has to be taken extremely seriously. Soldiers dont get leaves during war, do they? Also it is not like there was a huge emergency, his wife delivered 10 days before the 1st test, he could have flown to Perth one week after welcoming his second child. In this day of tech, he could be virtually spending hours with his family from Aus. No excuses for his attitude, all this shows is he thinks he is above the game, and he knows sycophant heroworshippers in India will eat all his BS. Last but not least, Bumrah is far more fluent in English, and won't embarrass us in diplomatic situations such as addressing the Aussie parliament. "AAAH...AAAH". "both the members of team" lol. He meant to say "members of both teams"
Australia is in for a lot of pain, the top four are shocking, McSweeney has no chance when the other three not performing, Smith does not look good and is in decline, Khawajas time is up and cannot handle pace anymore, he’s 38, Labuschagne has run out of ideas, 2 off 52 balls, then leaves a straight ball. The absence of Green is hurting big time, Australias depth in batting is almost non existence. Take a monumental effort to win the series from here and then we have The Ashes next season, England will be excited to knock us over. Cannot play Cummins, Hazelwood and Starc in same team now. Bite the bullet and give someone like Morris a go NOW. Cummins was underdone, should have played a Shield game but he does not like to play those games. It’s a worry.
Winning against Aussies at their soil with huge margin is not everyone’s cup of tea, our neighbors may be crying in the corner 😂😂 chance for India to win 3-1 ✌️hard to defeat team India once they lead the series!
Nah Don Argus on speed dial. Wholesale OUT: Shane, Kawaii, Wayne and Bice if he can't bowl -- IN: Bugs(Broads)Bunny, Kamala, English & Softie for Bice (if can't bowl- or tell Danny to harden up and box on) (P.S also fine to throw baby McSweety out along with ice bathwater as is a non factor in this series, (we understand the need to bring in new blood for future, but cant afford to babysit now, if you want to play the percentages and actually compete to have a chance at avoiding a blackout then he goes, - or at least with these ins he drops down to 5 or 6 where he should have started on debut!-MADNESS!)
The Australian players need more long format cricket. I would put Glen Maxwell in. Who cares who gets a duck. Maxwell or Smith. With Maxwell you will definitely get some ticker
You should stop doing this 30-second breath exasperation-it’s not worth it. I can see you’re capable of it, but your analysis is far more valuable which gets us here and not 30 second malarkey. Honest opinion!
One moment for Indian cricket fans to savor - in last 4 test matches played in Australia - India is 3-0 (1 draw in Sydney). In last pink test - India had 53 runs lead that was after Rahane ran out Kohli in 1st innings when Kohli was looking so comfortable. Ok that freakish 36 all out happened in second innings but India had the upper hand for majority part of that game. Can't wait for Adelaide. Bring Akash for Rana in Adelaide and maybe Ash back for Sundar.
The current selectors have shown a reluctance to make hard decisions, McDonald just wants to be everyones friend with unwarranted optimism to the point of delusion. To wait for any change means throwing the series away, good luck coming back from 2-0. India's bowlers will be difficult with the pink ball so our usual baked in victory is certainly not certain. Khawaja is in decline, so is Smith, Labuschagne totally out of form and Marsh still living off the heroics of a couple of innings in England. Yes a great bowling group but we still need runs. Loyalty is a great quality until it isn't. Bring in an opener, probably Harris, McSweeny at 3 at the very least, drop LAB.
@@Mark-qn9xl u r right...even in second match Indian bowling will be lethal with the pink ball in hand....the impact of bowling coach Morne Morkel can't be ignored mate...the lengths of Indian bowlers are just looking impeccable in both innings...

Still see Australia making a comeback. 3-1 to AUS.
My team for the pink ball test in Adelaide:
1. KL Rahul
2. YJ
3. Gill
4. Kohli
5. Pant
6. Rohit
7. Jadeja
8. Ashwin
9. Shami
10. Bumrah (c)
11. Siraj
Ash is the second best off spinner of all time in Test history, behind only the master Murali.
I dunno what was worse.....Australia huge loss, or Geoff's shirt.
Anger of loosing against New Zealand at Home 3 -0 . Someone had to pay for it .Jai Hind !
And what a victim to choose!!!😂😂😂
India is a batting country. Bowlers will always come 2nd based on what I have seen.
I agree. The 30 second summary is not at all needed
Winning against Aussies at their soil with huge margin is not everyone’s cup of tea, our neighbors may be crying in the corner 😂😂 chance for India to win 3-1 ✌️hard to defeat team India once they lead the series!
24:48 hard ones are no no but greens do help in sleep ;)
There we go, expertise here
Nah Don Argus on speed dial. Wholesale OUT: Shane, Kawaii, Wayne and Bice if he can't bowl -- IN: Bugs(Broads)Bunny, Kamala, English & Softie for Bice (if can't bowl- or tell Danny to harden up and box on)
(P.S also fine to throw baby McSweety out along with ice bathwater as is a non factor in this series, (we understand the need to bring in new blood for future, but cant afford to babysit now, if you want to play the percentages and actually compete to have a chance at avoiding a blackout then he goes, - or at least with these ins he drops down to 5 or 6 where he should have started on debut!-MADNESS!)
Are you watching the non-licensed version?
Nope, IMHO it was Gabba last time,
The Australian players need more long format cricket. I would put Glen Maxwell in. Who cares who gets a duck. Maxwell or Smith. With Maxwell you will definitely get some ticker
Hell yeah! Let's do it
You should stop doing this 30-second breath exasperation-it’s not worth it. I can see you’re capable of it, but your analysis is far more valuable which gets us here and not 30 second malarkey. Honest opinion!
I like the 30 sec recap, it’s unique to this show. The analysis that follows if detailed, so something for everyone
@@Krishnasaish1+1
why pick on kawajha?
At the start of the series AU was winning 5-0😂😂. What's the prediction now?
They are very scared of Bumrah.
Oppenheimer like
Give up and retire the old deadwood like top order and slow medium bowlers. Lyon is done. Where are our quick 160k boys?
One moment for Indian cricket fans to savor - in last 4 test matches played in Australia - India is 3-0 (1 draw in Sydney). In last pink test - India had 53 runs lead that was after Rahane ran out Kohli in 1st innings when Kohli was looking so comfortable. Ok that freakish 36 all out happened in second innings but India had the upper hand for majority part of that game. Can't wait for Adelaide. Bring Akash for Rana in Adelaide and maybe Ash back for Sundar.
Rohit and Gill back. In place of. padikar and Jurel .
But my wish Rohit should replace Jurel., jadeja or Ashwin will replace. Washington Sundar
Thank you I just watch that 30 sec get all the match details. Bye
Bum rah not Boom rah.
Glad someone called out siraj, absolute junk, lucky not to be suspended, he’s not a serious cricketer and is lucky he can ride bumrahs coattails
Waiting
How well ur analysis are
Best regards from India 🇮🇳
Brand new team for ashes 2025
Looks like Khawaja is playing his last series
Have to get the woke rubbish in there about Afghanistan. Well done
I used to follow your channel during last BGT series, I must say I enjoyed it back then but the quality of the show has definitely degraded. Lots of unnecessary content which bored me.
Why you are criticising siraj Stuart broad used to do it if it is plumb why turn around to appeal you should also criticise stuart broad he always used to do it not looking the umpire and just celebrating the LBW decision whether it is plumb or not siraj must have seen stuart broad
They said the same broad too, you blokes are a sensitive bunch
@@njokic2176 sorry bloke I hadn't heard the name broad from them
A & G have famously criticised Broad for celebrappeal. Many, many times.
"Why are you criticising something that has happened before" is not a serious argument, for future reference
The win here will be a great momentaum for Indians and they also know there is a division in the Aussie dressing room which may get ugly as the BGT progress.
NZ to win the WTC final lads?😅
Still aussies gonna win the series 4-1 period!!
Early
Finest it cant be because India was thrashed soundly by NZ. Your memory cant be so short
Saw this stat on espncricinfo " 0 Test series won by Australia at home since 1970 after losing the series opener. They have lost the first Test of a home series nine times since 1970, and have gone on to lose the series eight times. "
Well then All the Odds are against Australia
