It was janky 30 years ago when I rode it. It’s a very quirky park in general. I can’t wait to visit again someday, but I’m trying to imagine a reason to go to Oregon besides this small park… it’s a tough draw.
@@EmeraldBayMovies totally! I have a ton of family in Idaho, and they’re right on the OR border too, so I get back now and then, just not all the way to Salem area for this. I actually love the state, it’s just tough to dedicate a trip there with the fam.
I just rode this a couple weeks ago for the first time. Myself and a few friends passed by it on a west coast road trip and decided to get high af and check out a sketchy amusment park. No research whatsoever. Man, what a trip. That place was so bizarre and sketchy, which made the experience absolutely hilarious. The coaster was nuts. It seemed completely unsafe which is why we couldnt stop laughing on it
I remember this very well I was either 7 or 6 this was the most weird ride I rode the jank was crazy and when I went they had 2 train ops was there a blue train when you went?
Just rode this ride for the first time today. That lift hill is elite, wondering wtf youre doing with your life on this coaster while next to a pretty waterfall 😂 staff are awesome here too, & the coaster has great head choppers
Everyone has differe opinions, though nothing is perfect, until ArieForce One opened, but some people say some "surprises" like small bumps and the clearances on this roller coaster can make for a perfect ride in one's opinion.
Sorry to nitpick, but at 2:42 you say "the staff does load the trains very quickly". Did you mean to say "the staff do" as the noun "staff" is referencing multiple people
Both can be correct - in the new season "Black Mirror" they said "I am sorry, but the board want you out." and in an analogous scene they say "The board looks for a new...". So powblock8253 is right - but both versions appear frequently in real life ;)
Yes, both cars can be run at the same time. I would love to see this ride get a single-rail treatment. So much opportunity.
How often do both trains run?
@@CanobieCoaster I haven't been there since 2021, but probably the last time I can remember was pre-pandemic. So to say, nowadays, probably never.
They were running both during my recent visit yesterday
Came for the knockoff Matterhorn, stayed for the Disco Yeti diss.
I had to throw that in. Too perfect of an opportunity to waste it.
Matterhorn + Alpine Coaster + Chance Toboggan = this
Pretty much!
This is "We've got Matterhorn at home" but in a good way.
Yes it is.
"moves just as much as the one on Expedition Everest"
savage
Had to be said.
@@CanobieCoaster look, Disney just doesn't have the money to compete with a park in Oregon.

I love how weird this park and ride is.
Well, oregon is a beautiful state, so there are a lot of reasons to visit!

Glad you had fun!
This was my first non-kiddy rollercoaster as a kid. I still go to Enchanted Forest every year to ride it! It's definitely more intense than it looks.
Thank the jank.
I feel like a psychic because somehow im nearly always able to predict your rating for a roller coaster 😅
Congrats!

I only saw the yellow train in 2023. I saw a blue train in 2019. But I have never seen both on the course at once.
@@CanobieCoaster oh ok yeah it was I think 2017 I went on this

The staff here is so friendly.
@@CanobieCoaster very true
Super underrated ride and park
The park is super charming.
@@CanobieCoaster I really hope you were able to ride the shooting dark ride, I was blown away by that thing

For some, the jank makes this ride.
Jank is a-okay. There's good jank and bad jank, the uniqueness puts the experience in the good jank category I feel.
It's mostly good jank.
I get 1970s Toboggan vibes lol 💀
Similar looking vehicles, but more clearance.
I was there like two months ago lmao
Nice!
cool
Yes it is.

"Staff" is singular, so "staff does" is correct. "Staff members" do. You wouldn't say "the team do."

@@tobiashomann1077 Oh, sorry, I didn't realize that "Black Mirror" was the foremost authority on noun-verb agreement. Lol.
I meant staff as in multiple people since they had multiple platform attendants.
@@noclosecoasters9903 Lol. Of course they're not. But I studied English Linguistics and was just trying to find a suitable example ;-)
