I am a brain nerd. Imagine all the different areas of her brain that are firing: music, finger movements, rhythm (torso, legs), language (lyrics), eyes scanning the crowd (vision), amygdala (alarm centers for danger), emotional centers (empathy for others and her own feelings for memories), prefrontal cortex directing others to help in the crowd, redirecting her attention to the lyrics of the song while monitoring the situation in front of her. The fMRI machine would be blowing up.
Yes, it's quite fascinating- it would indeed be incredible to see her brain under fMRI. Her ability to spread her attention across so many things is definitely at elite level.
I am astonished that she kept it all together so well whilst alerting security or whoever to go help a person. My mind is blown. She did. All. Of. That.
When you are at that level, you don’t need to think about playing or singing or dancing etc, it just happens, allowing spare brain capacity to do these other things. It’s like in F1 driving around as quickly as they can possibly go, steering, accelerating, braking, changing gear and other settings, chatting on the radio, and all that with 70% of brain capacity, then thinking about strategy, what other cars are doing and what their strategies are and how you can change your strategy to compete against that. Next level, that’s why not everyone can do it.
See this: One woman standing in front of a huge crowd displaying her crafted music on a huge scale time and again. No matter her personal life, this woman is working hard! She deserves 👏 everything she receives. Let's be understanding. 🙂
I am 76 years old and been involved with all sorts of music all my life and I have always believed never to dismiss music just because it's new you should listen to the modern stuff with the same intensity that you listened to the songs of your own youth. Equally young people should engage with music from the past. The song " All Too Well" is a masterpiece of songwriting, ok the chords are a little basic but they work well enough to develop the melody line and showcase the lyrics. For those of you not familiar with the lyrics I suggest you print them out and study them there is great depth there and real flashes of poetry " casually cruel in the name of being honest etc." The storyline of the song moves along nicely and rounds off beautifully with the return to the mention of the scarf. Glad the folks at the concert appreciate you Taylor it gives hope for the future that so many are there immersed in the music and enjoying life.
She really cares about her fans, I could tell she was looking at something before she asked for help. I’ve never seen anyone asking for help for anyone in the crowd before her
Ignore the two snarky comments, they can’t help but out themselves. I agree! I’ve seen a few artists do that, but she keeps it up until she sees the help arrive.
She has given my 6 year old granddaughter memory's she will never forget kendyl had been to the rugby at murrayfield and loved it she was there lastnight ❤ taylir I'm now a swiftle 🤘
How delightful for your granddaughter that she now knows how to f-ck the patriarchy. She is well and truly indoctrinated into the cult . You must be so proud
I cannot believe I WAS THERE in GA and saw her motioning for help it was incredible. This is not a facade but real. She gives a shit. She exhibits what we need to be as humans. Be aware, be loving, be protective, be. Thank you TS xo
Life must seem absolutely magical to her right now. All her hard work is coming together and now she can take over the world all by herself if she wants.
I walked through the door with you The air was cold But something about it felt like home somehow And I, left my scarf there at your sister's house And you've still got it in your drawer even now Oh, your sweet disposition And my wide-eyed gaze We're singing in the car, getting lost upstate Autumn leaves falling down like pieces into place And I can picture it after all these days And I know it's long gone and that magic's not here no more And I might be okay but I'm not fine at all 'Cause there we are again on that little town street You almost ran the red 'cause you were lookin' over at me Wind in my hair, I was there I remember it all too well Photo album on the counter Your cheeks were turning red You used to be a little kid with glasses in a twin-sized bed And your mother's telling stories 'bout you on the tee-ball team You told me 'bout your past thinking your future was me And I know it's long gone and there was nothing else I could do And I forget about you long enough to forget why I needed to 'Cause there we are again in the middle of the night We're dancing 'round the kitchen in the refrigerator light Down the stairs, I was there I remember it all too well, yeah And maybe we got lost in translation Maybe I asked for too much But maybe this thing was a masterpiece 'til you tore it all up Running scared, I was there I remember it all too well And you call me up again just to break me like a promise So casually cruel in the name of being honest I'm a crumpled up piece of paper lying here 'Cause I remember it all, all, all Too well Time won't fly, it's like I'm paralyzed by it I'd like to be my old self again But I'm still trying to find it After plaid shirt days and nights when you made me your own Now you mail back my things and I walk home alone But you keep my old scarf from that very first week 'Cause it reminds you of innocence And it smells like me You can't get rid of it 'Cause you remember it all too well, yeah 'Cause there we are again when I loved you so Back before you lost the one real thing you've ever known It was rare, I was there, I remember it all too well Wind in my hair, you were there, you remember it all Down the stairs, you were there, you remember it all It was rare, I was there, I remember it all too well
I watched her perform this in Singapore. It was so much more impactful at night, especially with the stadium completely dark and paper leaves flying about.
@@jojo72194 could just be shes one of the biggest popstars in the world now and her shows are longer tan ever so more ppl need help. It's caring how focused on her fans she is making sure they are okay and get help when needed. during one show, she wouldnt continue until a fan got help. She must get a bit annoyed that security are not doing their job tho!
It’s a 3 hour show. Add the break after the opener, that performance itself and the waiting to get a good spot (the pit in eu isn’t seated so you’re not guaranteed a certain view) it is a long time to be alert and standing. The worst part is people who manage to get a good spot close to the stage (who waited a long time/camped for it) don’t want to move to get food and water so they don’t lose their spot. I think saying it’s for show is majorly disrespectful to the people that need help in these situations especially considering things that have happened during shows in the past.
Until I watched the songs with lyrics did I realize how wonderful her lyrics are as storytelling

I feel as you do at 66yrs old and my husband too at 77....ty for your commment...great songs in every way
This beautiful song deeply touches your heart.I am 71
I’m a 71 yo male and I agree 100%. Remember Ray Davies storytelling in the 60s-70s? This is up there.
This song is beautiful and it makes me sad for her. She is so talented.
She really cares about her fans, I could tell she was looking at something before she asked for help. I’ve never seen anyone asking for help for anyone in the crowd before her
Might be an idea to watch Pink then in that case.
Many many many artists have stopped their shows to help an audience member ...
Ignore the two snarky comments, they can’t help but out themselves.

@@Itsthejourneynotthedestinationagree with you.
There’s videos of loads of artists who stop the song to help fans in trouble. It’s not a new thing…

Hearing those voice of her fans was inevitable sweet
My favorite of all❤️
I feel that song deeply 💔

I love that she’s wearing big clunky black shoes instead of 4inch heels.
Life must seem absolutely magical to her right now. All her hard work is coming together and now she can take over the world all by herself if she wants.
I'm sure it gets kind of lonely
Amazingly Wonderful ❤
Beautiful Beautiful you are Blessed. You are a Blessing to all you touch ❤❤❤❤❤
Nochmals vielen Dank für die Performance ❤❤❤❤❤😂😂❤
I walked through the door with you
The air was cold
But something about it felt like home somehow
And I, left my scarf there at your sister's house
And you've still got it in your drawer even now
Oh, your sweet disposition
And my wide-eyed gaze
We're singing in the car, getting lost upstate
Autumn leaves falling down like pieces into place
And I can picture it after all these days
And I know it's long gone and that magic's not here no more
And I might be okay but I'm not fine at all
'Cause there we are again on that little town street
You almost ran the red 'cause you were lookin' over at me
Wind in my hair, I was there
I remember it all too well
Photo album on the counter
Your cheeks were turning red
You used to be a little kid with glasses in a twin-sized bed
And your mother's telling stories 'bout you on the tee-ball team
You told me 'bout your past thinking your future was me
And I know it's long gone and there was nothing else I could do
And I forget about you long enough to forget why I needed to
'Cause there we are again in the middle of the night
We're dancing 'round the kitchen in the refrigerator light
Down the stairs, I was there
I remember it all too well, yeah
And maybe we got lost in translation
Maybe I asked for too much
But maybe this thing was a masterpiece 'til you tore it all up
Running scared, I was there
I remember it all too well
And you call me up again just to break me like a promise
So casually cruel in the name of being honest
I'm a crumpled up piece of paper lying here
'Cause I remember it all, all, all
Too well
Time won't fly, it's like I'm paralyzed by it
I'd like to be my old self again
But I'm still trying to find it
After plaid shirt days and nights when you made me your own
Now you mail back my things and I walk home alone
But you keep my old scarf from that very first week
'Cause it reminds you of innocence
And it smells like me
You can't get rid of it
'Cause you remember it all too well, yeah
'Cause there we are again when I loved you so
Back before you lost the one real thing you've ever known
It was rare, I was there, I remember it all too well
Wind in my hair, you were there, you remember it all
Down the stairs, you were there, you remember it all
It was rare, I was there, I remember it all too well
Thank you!
Love the story this song tells of.

Yeah it was a bit weird being light. That's Scottish summers for you.
I’m seeing that any title that doesn’t have “era tour is not being taken down
Asking for is part of her show..I’ve seen her ask for help several times in her last 14 shows
What so its fake??
you went to 14 of her shows...and comment on a fan recording upload of her concert then say this? lmao
