I really like this game because of the character options and grinding but I have a problem for about 1 month now and I farm something every day the contagion mod on frenzy and I can't drop it when I farm other mods on other characters I drop them within 3 days maybe a week but contagion just doesn't work I tried it solo. and what else and nothing
I would say you have some pretty bad luck, but the game just sucks sometimes. Did you try combining modules? That is the worst option but sometimes it just works. Other than that I would say farm Hard dead bride or the chapel %400 infil especially when it's the invasion for the day.

for co op, do outposts
it's an option, but you get better loots doing those 2 missions I recommend, especially kuiper and transcendent modules.

Are you talking about the anais event on the web? The calendar is on the 3rd tab, there are 4 tabs in total
I figure I'll just do the ten missions while leveling some characters and gaining mastery points.
