I love this choregraphy and I can't stop to replay the video! It's truly amazing and it gave me the desire to start contemporary dance. By the way, everytime I see the guy behind the window, he kind of remind me Angus from " the fault in our star "!

Loved watching this! I have a dumb question. How do you keep from bruising your knees with floor work? I've been doing dance improv on my own for the last seven months and have chronic bruises on my knees. My knees are now becoming inflammed and painful from this. I've been trying to work around it and avoid kneeling, and am using knee wraps to practice while I gain skill in floor transitions. But I wonder if this is common for newbies or a problem specific to me? I used to take many dance classes years and years ago and don't remember ever bruising my knees. I am 44 now, just getting back into dancing for the first time in 22 years. I am already very active and fit, and my dance muscles are coming back. But the floor work is killing my knees. :/
I'm 19 and wanna start contemporary dance. Is it still possible for me to get somewhat good at it at my age?
