Baron the game you were think about is suprisingly probably the most famous castle defence game :- Grow Caslte. Its a stick figure game, you build a castle and survive and just like you said if you were able to build mines in the back area that is also in the game (i play it till this date bruh so much nostalgia). I mean it also has dragon bosses if you level up enough and and AND you add more floors to your castle to fit welp more heros. Its basically the OG castle defense of mobile phones. You should try it cause for some reason its addictive :/
