If you have Jacky D, Patitucci and Abercrombie playing on your album you should feel damn proud of yourself.

Great to see the jazz guys following the feels Joseph and James are laying down rather than doing standard jazz impros all over it. Great collaboration!

I love that figure that John Abercrombie was playing at 2:08. He was absorbing the vibe from his environment and fellow players, wasn't he?

Is it really possible to sightread THAT fast? Having been playing bass for more than a decade I can do at best half fast as John Patitucci does.

of course, don't believe anything on utube. but change the speed to 2x, & that's how fast he can sight read outdoors in a sandstorm at night with no moonlight while being stalked by lions near an erupting volcano.
