@@nicoweingerl5235 Best thing to do is put it on a dyno, to see where your base HP is As the output from the factory vary wildly on each car. I bought this to replace my 235 after it was stolen. .. And its actually way faster. The only downside is I now only get 19 mpg instead of the 32, but its well worth it.
This build has no parking sensors. And the auto washers for the lamps were the first thing that I deleted when I got the car. But the bumpers come with the option for the sensors, and it's all plug and play
How do they know what color to paint it? I’m about to buy mine but that’s the thing that kept confusing me as I didn’t see anywhere in the process before checkout to pick the paint code
It's tough.. you have to remove the exhaust from the midpipe, and source a 2017 M2 bumper, or fabricate one yourself using exhaust piping and a y-pipe.
What’d you mention about the check engine light being on? Is it because of deleting the fog lights? Or was it the “outside air temperature” And does that go away after installing the bumper? Thank yoy
CEL will come on when you delete the fog lights, or touch anything forward of the midpipe. Bootmod.. which is the most essential mod for any Bimmer owner will allow you to delete all these codes, and switch off the check engine light.
There should be three seperate screw holes. One just below the light, and two further down. To attach it fully you will need to remove the styrofoam, and the metal protection bar on the front of the car
Looking at your let it slide video, you are UK based. British Myself, mobed stateside in 07. You can get a regular M2 bumper, but you will need to do way too much fabrication to it. M2 replica bumpers are the way to go. I got front and rear, painted for just under 2k... Got mine from aeuroplug.com, but they are stateside only. Try ikonmotorsports.com/ they may ship to the UK. VRSF also have a really good racing downpipe, and they do ship to the UK..
@@f22bmw too much spending hahah now gonna try and see if i can modify it myself so i could fit if you know somebody that have done this hit me up! Thx for rplying great content!
Very useful, even I have not have F22, but you are the one to share and take off the engine cover. Thank you.
looks really good can’t wait for mine to come
If you don't have one, a racing downpipe, and a tune, absolutely transforms the car.
@@f22bmw i habe the 225d with 224 HP hope a little DPF off and Downpipe get me to like 280 HO

Did you get your bumper?
hey can someone help me,i got one also but it doesn't fit and idk why it looks like it's shorter then the original one and i got issues to put it on
you may have to remove the metal crash bar to get it to fit.. That is what I did, and it fit... just
My guy! I was trynna find videos to get me also a m2 front bumber to my m240i. It really looks way better🔥🔥
did you have to do anything to make the bumper fit? My bottom grilles seem to be hitting the metal bar
Did you need to change the foam crash bar? Mine isn’t fitting over the original one
Honestly.. I removed the whole CB.. never had an issue
@@f22bmw mine has the pedestrian crash protection sensor behind it so I’ve opted for the foam crash bar off the M2 comp, will let you know how it goes
Awesome video man! appreciate the effort you put in to make it. I'm assuming this would fit on my 230i? the standard bumper is so ugly lol
It will. It's a pain... But it will :)
230i bumpers look sooooo ugly Mann🤣🤣 I’ve been searching for m sport bumpers but no luck in my area
@@gabytena7581 Honestly... as long as you add the performance parts to back it up... there isnt much of price difference between M-Sport an M2...
Shout out to #kiesmotorsport who helped me figure out a few issues
Do the oem sensors still work?

Were did u buy this bumper at?
Awesome!!!!!
Thanks..

On the inside door, is the exact paint code for the car, they match that. If you are using Aeuroplug, they will reach out for your paint code.
Personally I would have it sprayed locally, as the shop they use in LA takes about 3 weeks to do it..
How about fog lights? Did u delete the warning indicator
Yeah. Bootmod3 will allow you to delete any warning codes the car throws at you.
I'm looking to do this to my 230i, as well as a rear bumber conversion, but how would I do a single-to-dual exhaust conversion? Great vid btw!
It's tough.. you have to remove the exhaust from the midpipe, and source a 2017 M2 bumper, or fabricate one yourself using exhaust piping and a y-pipe.
Easy- Just install a 235 muffler, add a diffuser and your done.

Where did you get the Alpina badge from?
Alpina.. My last 2 cars were B7's.
How does the fender attach to the bumper? I’m installing mine but it just looks like the screw from inside the wheel well has nothing to grab onto

I have a 218d 2017, I want to buy and fit one, are all M2 bumpers compatible with 2 series?
Also, where did you buy it from?

How much Does it get lower +/-?
Good few inches, enough to scrape it every time you roll over a parking exit. Definitely need back up splitters if you add them
From where did you buy the kit?
It's from aeuroplug. Just under $2k with premium paint front and back.
wow gj
Nice vid mate, its good to get insight before trying. Mine is a 240i, think its the same fit?
It will fit any F22.
Will this fit the standard 220i boss ?
It will. You just wont use the venting brake ducks that comes with it.
Shitt i just bought the original f87 bumper for my f22?...
Well, you can always get the original fenders too, and just add spacers for an even better effect!
