I always find it easier to focus 70% on eating portions/nutrition 30% on exercising for weight loss. Unless you want to really bulk and build but for me, if weight loss is your thing, you can lose most of the weight relatively painlessly by light workouts and heavily regimenting your eating habits. Thats how I lost about 50kg. It was not hurtful and very enjoyable. I'm not trying to be an athlete, just want to be generally healthy, light and fit into nicer clothes.

He is not wrong, a bike ride and a long walk the day after the workout will help you get rid of the soreness (you will avoid the pain that would have still been there the next day)
As you workout more and more, you get used to the soreness and your body adapts better. However, keep in my mind that u should still keep on getting sore after a workout. If u stop getting sore after a workout that previously got u sore, then ur body got used to it and u outta raise the bar higher. Also important tip: work on other muscle groups as sore muscles heal...

The best thing on this one as a beginner is sleep, literally. I feel pain like every time i increase my training like everyone else i get like 2-3 days of super sore muscles but i feel like sleep is a way to skip some those time of feeling the pain.

I'm a classical musician, and I practised too much recently and never did warm ups or downs. I guess we musicians are similar as athletes that work out too much but didn't do warm ups or downs. It's good that i just feel a bit sore from my left hand wrist.

Sitting there for 2 hours straight with your leg hurting insanely bad while you can't do a thing so you just cry in your bed isn't healthy for me, but I don't have a choice and Im still doing it right now. Im gonna try to sleep. Maybe that will help somehow, even though I think I can't fall asleep cuz the pain is too much.
For how long should i do the hydrotherapy?
Gotta have a little 1v1 powerlifting meet with my friend in 2 days. I worked out yesterday. I have rested all day today and I'm going to rest tomorrow as well. Wish me luck.

I’m 12 in march and did gymnastics for the first time in 1 and a half months and I’m so sore in my biceps 💪🏻
overtrained thigh muscles, haven't been able use them at all, e.g. just to sit down, without wincing in pain for the past 3 days :') google said having sore muscles for over 72hrs was a sign of muscle damage so i lowkey panicked a bit

Just hiked 10 miles without stopping yesterday and oh my goodness I’m so sore from my back down

did upper body abt 2 days ago, mostly focused on arms and torso. Now my my chest and arms are killing me, Moving them just a bit too much makes me wanna burst into tears
