      I always find it easier to focus 70% on eating portions/nutrition 30% on exercising for weight loss.
      Unless you want to really bulk and build but for me, if weight loss is your thing, you can lose most of the weight relatively painlessly by light workouts and heavily regimenting your eating habits.
      Thats how I lost about 50kg. It was not hurtful and very enjoyable. I'm not trying to be an athlete, just want to be generally healthy, light and fit into nicer clothes.

      He is not wrong, a bike ride and a long walk the day after the workout will help you get rid of the soreness (you will avoid the pain that would have still been there the next day)

      As you workout more and more, you get used to the soreness and your body adapts better. However, keep in my mind that u should still keep on getting sore after a workout. If u stop getting sore after a workout that previously got u sore, then ur body got used to it and u outta raise the bar higher.
      Also important tip: work on other muscle groups as sore muscles heal...

      @@shannenlibres2365 soreness is good and it won’t happen if you continue to work the same muscle groups. If you take a break it will get sore but not if you keep a steady pace. You should still work as hard as you can.

    I play cricket and I was doing intense training with my club after quite a long time (quarantine) but my muscles weren’t THAT painful but after I woke up the next morning I legit can’t move a bone. My dad took me to 2 hours of fitness today and tomorrow I have a match.

    I’m a professional swimmer, once I had a really painful back just from working out so much, I really recommend rolling on a tennis ball, it will terribly hurt, but will help sooo much

    I worked out on Thursday doing bench presses, bicep curls, and went a 4 mile run. And I did the same the next day to work off the soreness. IM STILL SORE ASF

    The best thing on this one as a beginner is sleep, literally. I feel pain like every time i increase my training like everyone else i get like 2-3 days of super sore muscles but i feel like sleep is a way to skip some those time of feeling the pain.

    😄😄 I came here because although I am not a regular workout guy, I ended up getting sudden pains in my thighs later on after dancing mercilessly to a song I liked.     Interesting video...I like it. I would like to add one more thing for those interested, L-Glutamine post-workout will assist with rapid muscle recovery as well. And, always have baking soda available to reduce cramps immediately. It neutralizes the lactic acid.

    I'm a classical musician, and I practised too much recently and never did warm ups or downs. I guess we musicians are similar as athletes that work out too much but didn't do warm ups or downs. It's good that i just feel a bit sore from my left hand wrist.

      The soreness when you workout after a long break is diff from the one which occurs after every workout. The latter is rewarding whereas the former is a pain in the ass, no everywhere.

    Can’t put my arms down at all, the tendon through my entire arm is so incredibly taught after my first time going to the gym and having almost no muscle mass :/

      Tezz o workout at home so you get use to doing more pushups and more sit-ups and do cardio because p.e should not be that difficult

      サクサク well it kind of depends because we have to do cross fit and it’s really difficult because we do burpees and other similar exercises with no breaks for 45 minutes straight and no one, not even the athletes are able to do all of it and still not be sore, so it depends on what you’re doing.

    I tried doing a moonsault off my couch onto my hardwood floor for some random reason without anything and I got the flip but did it more as a backflip onto my stomach and my knees were still up when I landed and I fucked them up

    i did an intense leg day yesterday and i am so sore from it, it’s currently 10:30 at night. im trying the best i can to make the pain go away since i have soccer training at 7 AM tomorrow...but nothing is workingggg 😭

    Slept 8 hours got out of bed nearly cryed self massage worked then stopped stretching made it a little worse haven’t tryed the cold shower yet ate felt no change it’s just something we have 2 deal with😤

    I did 200 hundred jumping jacks yesterday, 50 striders, 200 squats, and ran a mile, then today I did 30 jumping jacks, 30 striders, and ran a bunch, my legs hurt SO INCREDIBLY BAD!

    I'm watching this at 5 am cuz I can't sleep cuz my leg hurts all night, I want to kill myself. Sitting there for 2 hours straight with your leg hurting insanely bad while you can't do a thing so you just cry in your bed isn't healthy for me, but I don't have a choice and Im still doing it right now. Im gonna try to sleep. Maybe that will help somehow, even though I think I can't fall asleep cuz the pain is too much.

    overtrained thigh muscles, haven't been able use them at all, e.g. just to sit down, without wincing in pain for the past 3 days :') google said having sore muscles for over 72hrs was a sign of muscle damage so i lowkey panicked a bit
    Glad it was just the normal exaggerated google result.... Much more relieved after seeing everyone here being in the exact same situation
