If I ever buy another rust bucket I know who to send it too 😂 keep up the good work 👍🏾
Great video thank you for posting this im building a 71 monte and this helped me understand the structure under the quarter panels . Good luck with what ever project you're working on now .
Beautiful job
Nice job Dan!
I'm definitely now subscribed
Dude your freakin awesome can you keep the videos coming
Them are nice Panels! I have put aftermarket Quarters on a 69 Roadrunner not near that nice! I use to do Bodywork. Watching from Ontario .Brother had a 70 Monte first car I drove.
How many hours do u have in just replacing a quarter and what kinda money would u charge?
Do you happen to know what rear cross rail for the trunk will fit the 72 monte carlo?
The car is no longer here to look at and verify, however... I'm going to say 1971 and 72 Chevelle if you're looking for a car to cross reference. 90% of the Monte Carlo is interchangeable with Chevelle parts. Hope this helps you!
Good video..but lord ..about made me seasick as much and fast as u move that camera around
Nice job bro! I had a guy do skins on my 71 monte and I wish I did full 1/4's now because when the light shines just right you can see the spot welds in certain spots, I am not sure if it is because he didn't use enough filler or primer upon finishing or if that is normal with patch panels? It still looks good so I am not completely unhappy..
Thank you! Skins must be welded seam to seam or they'll flex over time and crack the filler at the seam.. if you're seeing high spots, it's probably the mig welds that weren't knocked down enough and/or not enough filler to level it out. These full quarters were a little pricey, but well worth the end product 👌👌
