I did start learning to play classical guitar many years ago, but because of my work as a university professor, lessons ended just half a year after. Now, after more than 40 years, I'm picking up classical guitar lessons with my Masaru Matano 400 (1974). Ms. Thu Le's lessons are indispensable. I am already indebted to you Thu Le, not just because of the lessons but also because of your exceptionally admirable personal touch. You are a very precious gift to the universe.

I saw that you didn't mention at what angle the tip of the finger should hit/contact the string (either in apoyando or tirando) which is very important for both tone production and speed!.I use rest stroke most of the time and free stroke for arpeggios, rasgueado, tremolo and for fast passages.

Perhaps Beethoven is not the 'author' of the phrase attributed to him ...
Perhaps some consider that it would be more appropriate to affirm that "the guitar can become, has the potential to be, a miniature orchestra", in 'some hands' ...
What has been fervently corroborated by established musicians (and by those of us who simply enjoy the art of our artist and teacher) is that Thu Le 'actualizes' the singular orchestral potential of the guitar.

As I have said before, you are very kind and generous to take the time to illustrate these basic , essential buildings blocks that lead to becoming a real guitarist. Entrenched bad technique habits, reenforced by years repetition , are nearly impossible to break. Even when one successfully breaks them, the time spent doing so cannot be retrieved. Thank you.🕊🌹🕊

Although, playing guitar is passe for me I enjoy the advice from a master guitarist. These are sound lessons for all whom really can play and wish to learn properly.
Bad habits are easy to fall into and very difficult to remove from the memory muscle. That is why we are better off learning when young and with an excellent teacher, there to correct our shortcomings, once we get older we tend to go back to the incorrect postures. Thank you for your talent and graceful lessons.
