    Une perfection !
    Rien de gymnique ici ainsi que l’on peut en faire reproche à certains ballets occidentaux. Que de l’artistique, de la subtilité et de la finesse. On en oublierait combien cet art est difficile tant la joie est présente et offerte au public.

    I have been at the Bolshoi about 4 weeks ago, at the last performance of Coppelia (at least in this season). Same scenery and choreography like in this video. Simply wonderful! And by far not as expensive as I had expected, 70€ for very good seats at the very best ballet theatre in the world is a fair price.

    • @sylwiatime
      @sylwiatime Рік тому

      Actually Delibes plagiarised the mazurka from Moniuszko, a Polish 19th century composer. While Moniuszko's opera wasn't allowed to be staged (the Russians had censored it) it was published, and Delibes found the notes and later said that he thought it was a folk tune.

    • @marcoricci55
      @marcoricci55 7 років тому +9

      Yup, Yuri, you´re damn right. The only thing that I´d point out is the cadence (too fast in my understanding) of the mazurka. It has nothing to do with the expertise of the dancers, but I guess it would give them more grace, that´s undoubtful.

    • @pbrower2a1
      @pbrower2a1 7 років тому +13

      And that is the point. Art needs not be completely authentic at the expense of its value to entertain and awe us. So what if the set designer got a word or name to have elements of writing inconsistent with Polish, using a Greek-Cyrillic gamma for a G and a Czech hacek over the z, neither of which would appear in either Polish or German. And if it is a French composer who created the music of the mazurka --it is spirited music befitting the ballet.
      Must one be Austrian to write a waltz?

      @@jankowalski-lg6bs As I have had some instruction from a Polish folk dance instructor years ago, I recognise the basic step used in this choreography is NOT correct, one aspect being they have "scissor" feet, not the gliding step, and they are using the skate step as a basic step, but some of the other steps are authentically Polish. Sorry, but I can't remember the Polish /French names of the steps (the Bird is one of them) Perhaps they have made it more balletic, Rusified or maybe it is more Hungarian? It is nice to watch, but it upsets me if people think that is the basic Polish Mazur.

    Never been interested in ballet with it's extravagant gymnastics and contortions, often, to me, out of place in the narrative. I came looking to hear what a Mazurka sounds like and had a lovely surprise. This was delightful. With music like that, what else could you do but dance? And the dancing, though completely beyond my capabilities looked like what I would want to do if I could. Beautiful costumes and scenery, everyone enjoying themselves, tuneful, vivacious music and dancing, real dancing - I may have to look again at ballets.

    Cudownie to zatanczyli w kostimach naszych bratankow Wegrow co powoduje ze ten Mazur staje sie miedynarodowy, symbol zgody miedzy nacjami, ja to przynajmiej tak widze, polski taniec, wegierskie kostimy I rosyjskie wykonanie. Super.

      Zgadzam się. Nie tylko węgierskie kostiumy, ale i węgierskie "klucze" na zakończenie zdań muzycznych i nie tylko. Tańczą technicznie super / rosyjska szkoła /, ale bez polskiego charakteru. Obejrzałam z przyjemnością.

      @@BytomGirl Tradycyjnie noszą w Coppelii kostiumy wzorowane na polskie. Czerwone buty jak w Krakowiaku i biało-czerwone stroje. Zresztą skąd Węgrzy w Galicji?

      @@sylwiatime Coppelia nie jest polskim baletem i tradycja nie pochodzi z Polski. To francuski balet potem z nowa choreografia Petipy i kostiumy sa wegierskie tez w pierwszym akcie gdzie oni tancza czardasza. Tu nie ma zadnej polskij tradycjih

    I have to desagree with you. The costumes are the best I've ever seen for Copeelia. And I also think that this is the best version of Coppelia too.

    Prawdziwy Mazur jest flirtem w tańcu, pogonia i ucieczką z zachętą do pościgu, jest tańczony z ogniem i przytupem, nie jest tylko perfekcyjnym popisem kunsztu baletowego wydelikaconego do poziomu mdłych podskoków. Podziwiam kunszt tancerzy, ale zatańczyc mazura nie czując go dziedzictwem ducha jest tak samo trudno, jak tańczyc flamenco nie będąc Hiszpanem.

      Szanowny Panie pisze Pan wierutne bzdury. Idąc dalej za tokiem Pańskiego rozumowanie rock&roll-a powinni tańczyć tylko czarnoskórzy mieszkańcy południa USA, tango tylko Argentyńczycy a walca tylko mieszkańcy Wiednia. Te tańce i weszły do światowej skarbnicy kultury i są własnością całej ludzkości. Mazur również; to taki rock&roll XIX wieku, tańczony w całej Europie. Możemy być dumni że mazur i polonez też ubogaciły tą skarbnicę. Ja jestem.
      Zarzut że zespół baletowy tańczy mazura czy inne tańce z baletowy żanrem trąci paranojom.
