For the triangle question at 15:30, the answer is 21. Let me explain. If you add the two bottom left numbers of the triangle, and then add the top number and the bottom left number, and then take those two sums and add them together, it equals the number in the bottom right of the triangle. Just to clarify, the first triangle would be. 3+1 = 4 and 3+2 = 5 then 5+4 = 9. In the second triangle 1+2=3 and 3+1=4 then 3+4 = 7. Finally the last triangle would be 5+4=9 and 5+7=12 then 12+9=21. Therefor making 21 the correct answer. As someone pointed out below, your math is incorrect as 2+3+1=6 and you wrote that it equals 7
I agree its 21 but I used a totally different method to figure it out. Bottom left number X 2 and then add the remaining triangles to get the bottom right.. 3X2=6 +1 +2= 9 --- 1x2=2+3+2=7---- 5X2=10+4+7= 21...
Thats what I came up with also. I was super disappointed when his solution was different but knew something was off when his solution only made sense if 2+3+1=7 which is doesn't.
Question starting at 13:31, I took the sum of the 3 smaller triangles on left then add it to lower left. The result is the smaller triangle on the right. Answer: D 21
Question at 16:25, tough definitely failed but after spent sometime, I considered each set as cardinal points by adding number from Blue set + Green set = Brown set. N.E.N. = 1+ 11=12,
E.S.E. = 2 + 13 = 15, S.W.S. = 3 + 17 = 20 and W.N.W = 5 + 7 =12, Answer: A 12
Triangle question: 3+1+2=6 Then add the number in the left corner 3 =9. Second one 1+2+3=6 + 1 (from the left corner)=7. Last one is 5+4+7=16+5 (from left corner)=21
I came to the same but opposite type solution. My equation goes backwards with subtraction instead of addition. It's in two other comments. Haha
2+3+1 IS NOT 7
yes it is the guy in the video said so!!!!
😂@@sinanc3761
2*3+1=7
@helenfasakin 2 x 3 + 1 = 7
Also you can move the top of the 2 to the bottom right to make a 6. 1+6=7
The last question, without rotating in the original position, top and bottom numbers added together +4 works, the left and right added together +3 also works. I don't like questions with more than 1 answer. What happens if your smarter than the person who wrote the test😊
Triangle question takes some time to answer it. And the correct answer is 21. No one on earth would answer this in under 10 seconds, you gotta be the most genius person in the world to be able to do that.
Right? If it's simple like how they answer it and the 7 was a six, that would make sense and I would have noticed that. I messed around with equations for a while and was working on equations within the triangles. The equation I came up with that got me 21 as rhe correct answer is, well first I labeled the small triangles with letters. The top is A and the bottom from left to right are B, C and D. So my equation thay I could get that worked for the first triangle and the second and made an answer work in the third is: D-(A+B)-B=C. This works for each Triangle for math with the numbers within each one if the answer is 21. I did ponder simpler equations with added another one but couldn't get them to work the same for each Triangle in similar order. How did you get your 21?
16:17
2 + 3 +1 = 7 ?????????? Where did you get that?
Its wrong
Yeah if that last 7 was a six that simple equation would work and I'd have figures that out. Instead I went through a whole thing and labeled the littler Triangle A,B,C,D. Top being A and bottom from left to right being B,C,D. And the equation that holds true for each Triangle of numbers being used within itself (not across triangles) is: D-(A+B)-B=C
Good lesson
@ 15:05 IN THE FILM : 2+3+1 = 5 , WHICH IS WRONG.
But it's quite unpredictable and depends on ones imagination😑
1+6=7
That's what I was thinking. Move the top matchstick of the two to the bottom side and make it a six. I did think of negative but then thought of that. I guess it depends on how the numbers are allowed to look.
1+6=7...
