I’ve got this device and it works great. Super easy to setup and use. I also have the tp link outside WiFi extender for my camera which is about 100 ft from the house and it never drops connection and works a charm.. plus there is a tree in between the camera and the WiFi extender
“How do we reset our old ring spotlight cam to use the newly installed extender's wifi signal instead of the weak signal from previous original router's wifi?” Would the camera need to be reset somehow, like right from the ring app in order to pick up the newly installed extender's wifi signal? Is the new boosted signals set up basically the same for any brand wifi extender? Thank you
I want to ask a question, i bought a new ip camera and it is connected to my modem which is inside my room but ip camera is outdoor, the signal are -80 dbm and weak but it is working so if I use this extender will it boost ip camera signal's? Because my modem signals are ok
I've been using these for five years. They're great for extending wi-fi signal to areas of the home furthest from the router. Easy to set up with WPS via the router. However, a bit more complicated if you do not have WPS.
@@1999step Plug it in somewhere between your router & an area of poor Wi-Fi reception. The lights will then start blinking. Check to see if your router has a WPS button, most do. Press the WPS button, which enables your router to find the device. Then go to the device & press the WPS button for one second. The blinking lights will then change to solid, indicating it's connected.
@@dereton33 It's a central control unit for your cameras. I was trying to find this wifi range extender would work with an NVR but you can actually set your other cameras to act as repeaters for each other.

A bigger door or iron gate down the side alley wouldn't go amiss as well!
And a lick of paint wouldn't also go amiss.......
Wow you fussy lot. Ha ha.
