- Jeremy Jacobowitz is photographing with the Fuji GA645 for the first time! He loaded it up with Portra 400 120mm film, and explores NYC, stopping at L'industrie Pizza along the way, and then goes over what he likes about the camera and the photos.

if you're in a scene that's more dynamic, you can always adjust your exposure compensation by +1 or +2.
great tip! Thanks!
Nice video! I just traded my Contax T2 for this camera and I’m itching to shoot with it! 😅
Thanks for the video. I'm wondering if you shot your little Canon alongside this Fuji to see if the same shot gives a different vibe/feeling simply because of the film format differences.
I haven't! for sure the detail wouldn't be the same, the medium format is a true difference. along with the differences in lens
Had one of these for awhile. Pretty neat camera, but not one I'd take to Disney World with the family. Wife wasn't thrilled at me reloading film every 15-16 clicks.
lol fair!
How would you describe the autofocus? Fast?slow?hunting?
@@robertalexander3067 def not fast lol. it takes a little bit extra work, and having a sense of the minimum distance
@@robertalexander3067 similar to cameras of it’s time period. But not fast.
FYI when this camera was new 220 medium format film was being produced which would have gotten you 30-32 clicks.
Which film lab did you go to?
great video! i just got one of these cameras a few days ago! i was wondering what mode you photographed these with on the back of your camera?
what do you mean exactly?
You are shooting Portra? You won’t notice overexposure until you are at 3-4 stops over. Especially because a lab with correct your 1 stop in the scan.
good to know!! thank you!!
Nice photographs! Can it imprint shooting data on the space between shots? I mean iso setting, f-number, etc.
id have to manually write down what they were. But you know what iso is on each one everytime!
Yes it does if the Dat is showing in the LCD screen. Not on by default.
Great review
thanks!
