I appreciate you for creating this series, and I understand the reasoning of the fish and not providing the source files. Although I do not agree with it. In the same analogy it would be as if you learned someone to fish, showed them how to fish but not provide them with the fishing line. The main reason why I would use the source file is to see the code from data to the comps, what the system looks like and how I could use it for other applications, which isn't explained. But like I said, I appreciate this series and you doing it! :) More of this!
Thanks a lot for sharing perspective, it is much appreciated. The main reasoning why it is not been distributed as is, is because it's a modular system. Template alone won't make much more sense as it is controlled by scripts. Yes, it could clarify some aspects but not to the degree of fully usable solution. I had plans on making it more public accessible but.. To be honest at some point direct requests which I been receiving anchored it and turned down my will to do anything about it further. Nonetheless, I am always open to answer questions if they are with a wish to learn - thus do not hesitate to ask anytime !
