I saw Frank with the Dropkick Murphys and was blown away by him and his band, great live and he's great on the record! Not usually my type of music, but he's great.
Was just going to say Chuck Ragan (who funnilly enough I first saw supporting Frank Turner!). Love Chuck Ragan and Brian Fallon, will check out Dave Hause now too - thanks johnnyfender99
A bit like how American's have totally devalued the word "awesome"? Frank stands out at the moment because he's unique, the first time I heard him reminded me of the first time I heard Bob Dylan, it's music that is true and honest.
I have my own personal opinion list of cover songs that were better than the original artist version. This one is not on the list. But it was pretty close.
I do not know if you are a Brit but the Brits have completely devalued the word "brilliant". If Frank Turner is brilliant where does that put Mozart and Michaelangelo and Miles Davis and Bob Dylan? I once hear a Brit call an omelette "brilliant". Yeah right.
nice voice and beautiful sounds on the really good guitar but I HATE this version. His additions and unique phrasings are all hateful. I Love the Cowboy Junkies version and of course Bruces original is really good.
does one of my favourite springsteen songs justice and then some. awesome frank.
Brilliant take. I love watching Frank Live.
Wow, one of my favourite artists covering another of my favourite artist's tracks? Incredible
Absolutely beautiful.
Great cover of a great song written by a great artist and covered by a great artist.
+badlanders888 great comment...

I'm a Springsteen's fan , but this is a very very good version !!! Great Man , Frank !!!
thank you Mr. Turner
I've heard A LOT of Springsteen covers, this is the best one, by far!
You have fucked up taste.
My number 1 favourite frank turner cover
Glad I'm not the only punk who loves Bruce.
Future wedding song.

this is the song he's talking about at the beginning of his best song - "redemption"

look at that little dimple...
Where is the kind of love that happens in these songs?
Frank is brilliant, but Joe Strummer was the English Springsteen. :)
my hairs stood on end..
the english springsteen
What does he do on the Em chord (I think) at "Mary climb in"?
i want to marry him. please.
umm excuse me? omelettes are brilliant...
I accept your challenge ☺️

strummer too
Well said Brian. I like how my honest comment was taken off. Read my new comment before it goes too :-)
cory branan too,
I'd say he's just as good as any of those, if Frank isn't brilliant, what is?
Singing Thunder Road with a Brit accent is like singing our national anthem with one.
I would have never noticed.
Let's not throw the word "brilliant" around that easy. Great he is. Brilliant, ummmmm, nope.
I agree I love frank, he is great. but h'e no Dylan, no Neil Young and no Kurt Cobain etc
