A great video, as usual, thanks!
I think giving the customer a small gift, is an excellent thing to do - it demonstrates to the customer that it’s a superior service that you’re offering and that you care - as does the fastidious cleaning up. (I bet Ryan did that!)
Thank you Steve, and noooo I did the cleaning 😏😂
This is the reason I love the click stuff as you can adapt it like this, you can to a certain extent with a Hager but not like that a three gang switch one a single plate, If you happen to need an intermediate etc you can just pop out and change 👌🏻
Yea mate they’re awesome for us traders that can just keep a load of stock and never be caught short
@@Cablesmith Definitely mate plus the fan Isolator with the fuse built in is a dream too 👌🏻🤌🏻Working smarter not harder
Your sticker on the front of the consumer unit looks mint Sean.
🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻
Them little labels are a great idea, like the cable smith sticker on the front of the DB as well 👍
Yea I love them! And thank you martyn
Great progress guys well done ~ nice touch with the Cablesmith goodies 👍🏻
Thanks matey 😊
Board looks MINT!
🥰🥰
Great video, thanks!
Fan Isolator look at Click CMA3020, it’s pre built switch and fuse carrier
Yea I know about these but my wholesalers don’t stock them only the separate modules for some reason 🤷🏻♂️😂
Good content Sean, like the idea of the three core to the switch for future proofing. I’m a fan of the click mode range and the modules you use. Small question on the fan isolator and fuse you show. When wiring do you put the permanent line or switch line to the fuse 🤔I assume it would be the permanent line.
The clean up and small gift is a really thoughtful idea. A bit of professionalism, well done on a good install given the challenging Cable runs. Well done both.
👌👌
Hi mate, appreciate the good feedback. As for the fan, yes it’s the permanent live that’s fused. It’s a bit of a misconception with people saying both need fusing to 3A which they don’t.
Nice job lads, hate rewires🙈 but getting plenty of work doing them at the minute
Thanks mate, I love them but only if nobody is living there at the time, don’t mind if it’s furnished as long as they’re out for a week 😂
The video is very good 👍..no complaints about work well done guys..,
Thank you 😊
Nice job Sean boy, I always use the black as the switch line too, don’t know why just always have. Those labels look sick though mate 👌🏻
I usually use black as the permanent live but that’s just from doing commercial most my life and all emergency lighting Flexes come pre wired like that.
@@Cablesmith didn’t know that tbf, everyday is a school day
Nice neat and tidy board. Good work gentlemen 👌👊
Thank you Martin 😊
Nice those trunking bends aren’t cheap!
Oh sh*t I forgot about the price of them bends ! I’ve not had the invoice yet 😭😭😭
Nice work chaps!
Thanks Jim
Nice job lads !
Thank you 😊
@@Cablesmith I need one of those Cablesmith switchboard stickers in my life !
Nice work
Cheers dude
What should I expect to pay for 4 Hikvision Colourvu cameras to be fitted, with all the wiring already run to the soffit location? Thanks mate keep up the good videos
Depends on wether IP or Analogue version, what cameras and how big of hard drive but personally around £850-1050
@@Cablesmith cheers buddy. Keep up the content
If you do want to save herself 5mins work click mode do sell fused fan ISO’s complete with 3A fuse. 👍👍
Yep I’ve seen them online but never in stock anywhere I’ve asked for them, only separate modules 😂 typical
@@Cablesmith to be fair your right, I had to ask my wholesaler to get em in, luckily it’s a small independent place so they did. Probably only used about 4 meself tho, bet their fuming 😂😂
@@Bazza-tn5ck always the way 😂 asked mine to get things in stock many times then hardly used it 😬
Not too shabby 😂
Not too shabby indeed 💪🏻😂
those fancy switches, do i need one for the bathroom fan then as mine is just done via the pull switch
thanks
With the 3A fuse you mean?
Manufacturers will say yes you do that’s why we fit them, but I don’t want to tell you it’ll be alright without one 😂
@@Cablesmith I think that deserves a sub 👍
@@therealdojj legend 👏🏼👏🏼
I just have to ask… What’s with the ‘2015’ @14:11?
I think it was just under the wallpaper they had stripped off.
I’m not getting notifications when you post buddy. Anyone else had similar issues ?
Happens a lot with UA-cam this mate, not sure if there’s a fix for it tbh.
Do the quenetic switches fit in them click mode grids mate i know they fit into mk grid
They do now yea, they recently made a click minigrid Quinetic 👏🏼👏🏼
Another cheap imported consumer unit installed. Who sells/installs tall RCBO’s anymore? What’s your customer going to do in three years when they want a circuit upgrading or adding and Verso have disappeared so you can’t get their devices anymore, a new consumer unit will be needed costing them again.
what consumer unit would you recommend then? as far as I’m aware they’re all imported and any brand can disappear… look at MK, they stopped.
We have been around for 10 years. And unlike many importing companies we own our tooling and have full control over our production. But you are right MK pulled out of the market, havells have as well, many other “leading brands” have changed their designs so that you cannot fit new devices in an old board.
Thanks for giving us the opportunity to explain why we are different though ❤️
@@Cablesmith Hager, Crabtree, Schneider, Wylex have been manufacturing in the UK for over 100 years.
@@navitascp many of the leading brands innovate and develop new products but you can still get there replacement devices for their units. If you own your own tooling and have full control over production, why do you still produce tall rcbo’s when the leading brands switched to miniature years ago?
@@mikenewman9372 each of those make their devices in China. Whilst some may do some assembly in the UK the components are from China these days.
I’m regards to mini RCBOs we do have our range and it’s double pole currently being independently certified by TUV in Germany 👍🏽
We have spent many years designing this range, and we are proud of the levels of testing and quality we have gone to with the products. So you’ll be reassured to know that we will be around for many years to come 👍🏽
