No problem! Glad I could help. When my locs were shorter, they kept a nice curl for awhile, but since being longer they only seem to do good for maybe 2-3days, but good thing it's a quick style to do
I will definitely admit it got more challenging as my hair got longer. They did hold as long and wasn't as feathery looking. I suggest "layers" to your hair to keep up that look up, especially for any curls

I always seen the thin haired girls do this and I was like is there a way to do it for plentiful haired black girls and boom I found this I'm definitely gonna try this one
No worries, not weird at all ! Great question. U can definitely just use the hair tie, your curls will probably be a bit more tighter cuz of the extra wrapping you'd have to do since it's smaller but I see no problem. it'll still turn out cute. If u have multiple hair ties, even better to make up for no headband.
It could take a day 1/2 sometimes more for longer locs especially if u use a lot of water like I did, n I let it air dry. When my locs were shorter, they were ready overnight.
Hey💕 I suggest making sure hair is damp enough to be manipulated, maybe smaller sections of hair if your locs are thicker, and if u used a bigger headband, try a smaller one or vice versa

it can if u wrap too tightly, so just be mindful of not pulling the hair too tightly around the band

Somehow Im running out of space on my headband, and still have a-lot of hair left thats not wrapped around
