I’ve been waiting for someone to expose how incredibly powerful the book is. It’s ritual disturbances for any skill at around 100k exp extra per hour for the extra activity. It’s bonkers good and easily the most slept on reward.
Unfortunately, the Scripture of Elidinis' ability only works if you are training a non-combat skill, so you won't be seeing any of the souls from the Godbook during Rituals.
i think it works... You gain exp after doing the action. And since these spawn on exp drop with cooldown once per min chance to spawn, it would spawn in the section where you ended up in during the agility. Therefore it should be easier to trap since some of those agility sections are very small walking space (except some parts of anachronia agility and other similar open map course).

Does the spirit give xp in the skill you were training when it spawns? or can it also give xp in another skill if you get that xp drop after it already spawned? (like, proccing it with woodcutting, then quickly cutting gem for craft xp from spirit)
The downside is you can't use brooch (urns). So i'm not sure the scripture is that good, if you deduct the "lost" xp from urns, considering this isn't afk.
@@answerth I'd say more importantly, you're losing out on the double skilling station proc - that makes a huge difference when training some skills (ex. Fletching/herblore). It's mostly a GP cost, but it will certainly make certain methods much more costly.

Why wouldn’t you want Bik pages to go down? They’re extremely expensive and only available for the Uber rich to use. The good thing about this book is you don’t HAVE to use it. People who want to play more active will like this, obviously that’s not you. A big problem with this game is the community needing everything to be AFK.

@@mbatistas You can fix this by doing display capture instead of window or game capture btw. If you have a 1440p monitor you won't even need to play in fullscreen just crop the footage after the fact.
eh seems kind of shit. Would be great if it worked like Spirits or Bik but as it is now just seems like you're paying 70m for a trade-off. 10% more effort for 10-20% more exp. rs3 is afkscape. Will be a good investment for non-maxed players long term but i dont think ppl really care about max exp efficiency in todays RS3. I think ppl would rather spend 700m over of 70m to make it passive instead
People have been asking for more active skilling for a long time. They talked about this in the survey results and it’s seen in the popularity of Croesus, time sprite, ritual disturbances, and the slight disappointment at gate not being as intense/engaging. Ultimately this and the runic Dowser are a clear response to that desire. I’d pay more to make it even more active.

@@LawsonR I can speak for the dowser its very comfy and extends the afk time at incandescent wisps by quite a bit. Main use is going to be for gathering energies or making divine charges.
OSRS random events are old failed bot detection systems and horrendously unrewarding. They were removed because they felt pointless and punishing to real players. This book captures the fun spirit of the idea without all the many negatives. Because if you don’t want to deal with it you literally just don’t use the book.

Which means less books, less pages and less skilling offhands, so prices will go up i guess.

Nope. Not for me. Even as a half skiller/half pvmer, i certainly dont need this. I afk my money-making skills and do active pvm for my big money drops. This book would be a waste of gp for me as i dont like active skilling. Active skilling is definitely better, but im maxed out, and pvm drops pays way more
@@zeldapro18 when you are afk skilling the last thing you want is to play a minigame if you will to get the reward. One click like serene spirit will be more likable by afk skillers.
@@charlesdai6611 yeah, all depends. If you're really afking you won't be worried about Seren spirits either, they don't give xp. At least with this, the xp is worth it, but always depends on how chill you want to be. Shouldn't always carter to afk play.

10 hours at arch with the new book here on average I got 9.6 spirits per hour so I believe your idea is correct about the percent chance.

Test this out on rituals with max disturbance, check the rates. Probably insanely high!

Well you can still put urns in inventory, but you're still losing out on the brooch components

Most skillers afk when skilling, so this doesn’t seem that useful to me, better to make them just a serene spirit that gives exp
