@@MrBizteck if it takes 1/3rd of filament you end up losing 1 spool per 3 storages. You‘d need 3 spools in order to build one of these so how do you end up having more spools in the end?
OMG awesome work, im just getting into 3D printing and would like to print most of these.. im now subscribed & looking forward to seeing more like this.. 👍👍👍👍👍
I like the idea of the screw/bolt sizer and the battery holder (can never find batteries around here). Ideal prints if you have time / filament to waste..
Canyon Racer as long as we’re learning something new, we’re technically “students” right? Fusion360 took some time to understand, but they post great instructional videos on their UA-cam channel.
Thanks so much for the spool holder drawers. I have all the components printed. Could you indicate where I must place the "bearing wheel in" the design? Thanks Richard
1: A slower speed helps 2: A cooler nozzle means the melted filament needs to cool down less (it still needs to be hot enough to melt) 3: A good fan + fan duct are probably the most important so that the filament cools faster
There are ways to use no support, but it depends on the model. If your settings are great you dont need supports for overhangs that are under 45°. Thereare much more techniques👍
I finished watching your video, honestly it didn't really give me any more ... tell me if it's really economical to make your boxes yourself or is it more economical to buy them in a store Cheap, I don't have a 3D printer, so I have a hard time realizing the required filament consumption, but this video will surely be useful to me when I have plenty of tools to Future 3D printing, in the meantime I'm looking for videos and funny, unique printing ideas, which serve a few things while being unusual, you have really good ideas that please a lot Many people, but here it is ... I'm not looking for this kind of video for the moment, I can't wait to see your next videos, moreover they will be more on the theme of video game tools or objects, I have Loved your animal crossing video I hope there will be plenty of videos like this !!! Useful / functional objects inspired by cult video game objects !!
Okay understand comparative economics are not going to benefit you. For instance that container box this size is going to cost you $1 to $8 at the store but you're going to pay $10 for the filament to make one plus your time and the energy. The reason to 3D print something is to get exactly what you want but economically it will not even close to balance. 3D printers are for for making custom items that you cannot buy at any store.
How are you printing these crazy overhangs without supports? I'm just getting into 3D printing and everything I print with even a slight overhang is sag city
I did the cost analysis recently for some simple storage bins for screws and it was about three times as much just for the filament alone (so electricity and wear and tear on top of that) as just buying some (when on sale). I even modeled the 3D printed bin to be more efficient with material than the bins I was comparing against. I'm sure some of these designs are worth printing, but definitely check out alternatives.
Models, printer and filaments used are linked in the video description!
Leave a comment with what I should print next :)
rodasX Ooh I agree
Can you make DOOM 3D print
Airships from no Man's sky.
Some camera mount to do sick timelapses as yours or a microphone stand
Print Mortal kombat 11 or Marvel stuff
This drawer from empty filament spools is a great idea! And with every new empty spool you get one layer of storage more!
Ok but those stackable hexagon drawers are next level awesome
love the filament spool drawers

That spool organizer was awesome! :)
The spool storage was cool
Problem with the spool storage is that it takes 1/3 of a spool worth of filliament. So you end up with even MORE empty spools!

A new video!
Howd you print those overhangs at 0:10?
I wonder the same
He has a machine that is good at acceleration for overhang bridging
Cooling on the prusa is pretty good and the overhang is not that big
That is a "bridge", not an overhang. A well setup printer can print 150mm long bridges with ease. Have faith in your printer!
@@raider1284 this, nice explanation!
How did you print the first model without any supports? It looked like it turned out great. What were your settings to bridge across the top parts?
Even though I don't like this type of videos really much, this was a good one👍
Loved most of the suggestion...
Excellent suggestions, my printer has been sitting idle for way to long.
Look around Thingiverse for some cool upgrade parts. That always makes me want to run my printer more often.

Are those arches printed without support?! Or is that the magic of editing? 0:08 first model.
How did you get that thing tuned so well? I don't see ANY layers... beautiful.
It's the filament that helps a lot in hiding the layers. Try to get some marbeled or glittery filament and see for yourself...

Cool!
what is your layer resolution ? looks really good!
