For some reason I have been watching the Brady interviews the past two days. A few things that surprised me were:
    1. Barry is really a sweet man. He doesn’t overtake any of the interviews. I really thought he would have.
    2. Susan Olsen seems really fun. She doesn’t seem to be the slightest bit pretentious and doesn’t care to dress up. It’s really heartwarming.
    3. Eve’s voice is so different. She is hard to recognize. I wonder if she smokes.
    4. Mike seems awestruck and he seems so kind.
    5. Maureen seems sweet. I love how Barry patted her when she choked up.

      1. Barry is really a sweet man. He doesn’t overtake any of the interviews. I really thought he would have. HE IS REALLY KIND. WAS LIKE THAT ON ANDY COHEN TOO. VERY SWEET AND ALWAYS SMILING.
      2. Susan Olsen seems really fun. She doesn’t seem to be the slightest bit pretentious and doesn’t care to dress up. It’s really heartwarming. SUSAN NEEDS A BRUSH AND A BARETTE...tee hee...
      3. Eve’s voice is so different. She is hard to recognize. I wonder if she smokes. EVE HATED THE JAN THING FOR YEARS AND YEARS. SHE CAME AROUND BUT YOU CAN STILL SEE SHE ISNT FULLY EXCITED ABOUT IT. SHE DID SAY ELSEWHERE THAT SHE USED TO SMOKE.
      4. Mike seems awestruck and he seems so kind. MIKE AND SUSAN ARE THE TWO MOST OUTGOING.
      5. Maureen seems sweet. I love how Barry patted her when she choked up. MAUREEN HAD SUCH A HARD LIFE FOR A WHILE THERE. SO HAPPY TO SEE HER DOING WELL.....SHE LOOKS SO PRETTY TOO.
      My two cents :)

And this is an example of why this is the only late night host today worth watching. No trying to upstage them for even a second or being smarmy or snarky or sarcastic or insert political agendas or other typical Hollywood BS, just simple genuine affection for a classic sweet innocent show and the remaining cast. Johnny would give this his classic "OK" sign.

Omg!! I sorta lived in that story with you guys, back then I believed the house belonged to the Brady Bunch until yrs later. I was born in 1962 so I literally grew up watching the show beginning at age 7 yrs old as a hardcore fan! I watched every episode and never knew it wasn't yall's hm until alil older. My own kids, 1st came my Son born in July 87 & was the best B'day gift a new mom could ask for! #2, my lovely sweet daughter arrived in March of 90 which each have now given me a grandchild in the last year & a half, my son & his wife had a baby girl in May 2018 & my youngest/daughter gave me my youngest grandson June 2019, which I was able to help by catching him and placing him on my daughters tummy. Now Im a Honeyma/forever mom @age 57 who choose to be careful of what my two watched growing up. Both ended up in the drama club doing plays durning their HS yrs together since they were fairly close in age.. That being said, they had access to Nickelodeon and Nic at Nite early on durning their early elements school yrs and watched with a afternoon snack as I did in my middle school yrs. I had turned them onto many of the great shows from the 60' -70's including laugh - In, Sonny & Cher, Carol Burnett and more night time comedy hr shows. There are to many to list durning after school hrs. It was my son who recently let me know the Brady house was no longer on set but at the location which I believed the show was shot there and at my age of 7, I believed to an extent or wanted to, because yall where the perfect TV family of my generation so I grew up wearing those groovy clothes in my early teens. My kid's and I watched together in the mid 90's so they to had similar values instilled from myself growing up with you kids/now adults. The restoration is spot on and I'm still alil surprised after all the years of not knowing back then that yall were on set, not in that modern late 60s house because yall's TV mom and architect dad, Mr Brady could afford to give yall a good life. In my own life, my mom & step dad moved outta the city into a suburb in the early 70's to a new home they had built. I could go on & on, but there's so much I can identify with and many time's wished we neighbors in reality back then. The show was a great escape as many really good shows were in that time & Era. I was happy that own kids grew to enjoy the show and knew more than myself what's been going on. I know yall's TV mom & dad were there in spirit for the reveling. And you all look the same, like myself being a natural blonde, I've got the
natural platinum now while growing old gracefully. Of course I do like the shorter sassy styles now. I can still see the child & young teen in each of you & yall haven't changed much besides aging as we all experience. What a amazing project & I'm happy to still be around to enjoy this time in yall's life! Thx HGTV for giving us the reality of what I thought was the house as a 7 yr old child would, now it's reality for those from my kids generation. Bravo to all of you. Last thought & truth, I loved Alice more than the parents role!!

Yes. Stephen Colbert is a super fan of the Brady Bunch, since about the time his booker told him they'd be on the show to promote the Brady House thingie. Okay, I was a Colbert super fan for years. Stephen Colbert is a super fan of Lord of The Rings, Star Wars, Bill Cosby, Sci-Fi movies........the Brady Bunch? Not one time did I ever hear him mention that show. This is why I can't stand the Late Show.

some writer recently visited the brady bunch house and he said it's not that great/....because if you make a fetish and idolize something like that and then you see it in real life it will always be disappointing...the childhood stuff ended back in the 70s for these people...sad

Its basically rare that a case from the 60s or 70s are all (somewhat) still alive... im not a Brady fan at all. But im SHOCKED that they havent rebooted a Brady show with the kids that are now all elderly today... its SO weird how they eldest siblings look better than thee younger ones!

Am I the only one that can remember a time when politicians and journalists were the only ones in society that did not dye their hair, while not openly engaging in appearance deceit, tonight I just saw seventy-one-year-old Billy Crystal on the fifty-five-year-old Stephen Colbert’s television show competing for the best in show hair dye treatment…tune in early next week when the winner will be announced…by this esteemed blogger…

Makes me sad that they didn't become millionaires from this show and that Bozos from Amazon isn't sharing his wealth with them from showing the episodes. Watching Bozos and his freak woman running around the world like weirdos makes me sick. GIVE THE BRADY'S CAST WHAT IS DUE THEM.
