Snap on finally came up with a great design versus the typical Cabo manufactured wrench sold under various names. I was never a big fan of the spline drive. The forked section of the Snap on is more stout and therefore allows for a slightly larger pivot pin than the Cabo design. The 12 point Flank Drive will give plenty of grip on the flats of fasteners. I much prefer the switching lever of the Snap on over the Cabo switch position. The only problem with the Snap on wrench is the $800 price tag for the set. At least you can buy them individually and only buy the sizes you need which offsets the cost.
And believe me when I say the snap on is in a different league. The smoothness and back-drag separate them. Plus the snap on is more stout. It will take way more abuse.
Yea and you can actually WRENCH on the snap ons. Just like their ratchets, my dealer told me the torque specs for each one some are like a ⅜ ratchet and the big ones are like a ½ ratchet so they are strong unlike most ratchet wrenches that blow up trying to break shit loose
I been working on car all my life and i see them nice wrench set but i have always fix the car with out them most of the time im to lazy to get a ratchet wrench
Ordered a 13/15 to test out. My most used size as all I work on is GM stuff. If I don't have any issues with it I'll order the whole set and gladly pay the premium price.
are they really?? man that makes me want them even more! i could tell in the vids how smooth they seem when will they be on promo do you know? Cause id def love me a set @@HeebzMedia
also have you used the mountian or the ez red ones? how do you feel about them in comparison? because thats what i have now but id love to upgrade to those ones @@HeebzMedia

If the Mountain/Icon/etfc. wasn't doing the job, I get replacing them, but boy I'd wait until you were having issues before I'd spend Snap On money...

I haven’t yet, and it’s light years better then the typical Cabo design. But it’s something you’ve got to feel to believe
Not many videos yet. By once cry, twice on this one.
Got to have me a set
How much did you pay?
What drives me nuts is they skip the 9/11mm and dont even offer a single to complete the set.
Also nothing over 19mm. A 21/22 option would also be very handy. And in fact snap on has no reversible or flex head over 19mm or 3/4".
How tall are the 8mm and 10mm offsets? On their website it looks almost non existent; hoping it is just the photos.
Between 3-4mm
Are the heads really floppy? My 8/10 especially is extremely loose. Won’t tighten up further. It’s really pretty much useless.
How is yours?
Same. It’ll tighten but only hold still when it’s bent forward. Idk why it’s only that one, but that’s my leased used one. I wish they made 21/22
Love mine better than the Taiwan buy USA Mande products
I want them so bad. Just asked my dealer what price he can give me on the set. I really don’t want to pay 800 if I don’t have to lol
I gotta say, they are buttery smooth. But if you wait long enough, they gotta go on promo. I got mine for 7
