YOU SHOULD REBUILD THE UTB18 AS STOCK AND COMPARE IT SINCE YOU HAVE REPLACED ABOUT EVERY STOCK PIECE NOW.
I think once you get some nice metal beadlocks it would counter that weight down low from the body, win win.

The cage UTB18 setup properly will give that $200 chassis a run. I'm at a 62-degree incline with the stock tires.
Modding mini crawlers is one of the most fun things you can do in the hobby 😊
One thing guys do on the gspeed chassis is cut up the capra cage and mount it up. It actually turns out sweet

This is awesome a Toyota body would be awesome or a low square body Chevy. With all the parts you have changed on this I believe you have all the parts to rebuild your Capra back to stock again as a complete truck. Just need to get the new wheels and center drive shafts I think.
The orange spacer is for the motor and skid plate

if you had a cage made it would be a boucer . all you have to do is drop the rock sliders off and make stainless boat sides maybe a linked sway bar a on the back ... the ride height is on the money just need some shocks . i just might have to get one one
wow then i saw the price tag . i was given a quote of $400-450 for a kraton 8s rock bouncer tube chassis . so ill save up for the big boy . if your into small scale thats a cool set-up . i want my last rc big and strong enuff to pull me in my wheelchair lol ! bang

100 fucking dollars for links for a 1/18 scale and they arent even high clearance and they dont come with the tie rod and drag link. this guy either gets these vitavon parts for free or at a MASSIVE discount. how does one afford so much vitavon? what pisses me off most about vitavon, other than the price, is on top of that they have the nerve to charge shipping. $7 shipping on $92 links.

Ya know at this point the only original parts left are the transmission, driveshafts, and wheels/tires. Why even buy the actual Capra at this point? :)

You could run a lighter 1/16th body like I do on my sporty. I use a J Concepts Illusion body.
