Totally want to know more about your AI workflow. I've played with Stable Diffusion and even have Invoke AI installed prior to seeing your video but I've yet to manage to do anything useful with it aside from the occasional character portraits for TTRPGs.
You should also build a router with SFP using either OPNsense or pfSense for better performance, to avoid bottlenecks, and to have full control over your network, bypassing the subpar ISP-provided router.
@@rjbernaldo_ Consider a low-power PC with at least 16GB of RAM and a dual SFP PCIe network card for pfSense or OPNsense. I recommend Intel for compatibility with most network cards. You can also check out the ZimaBoard for low-power consumption and run OpenWrt on it.

Unraid with AI? That’s new to me, please make more videos about that- I’m interested. Just bought a custom build with rtx4090 just to play with hypervisor & AI!
love to see what you can do with low power i have same set up as you for many years with my old gaming parts with few sas cards and wana rebuild to try lower power , 212w mine just chilling with gpu sleep script so wana see what you can do :)
Wow, that's the video I was looking for. I've just bought UnRAID and installed into my new home server and was thinking about playing with AI. Can you do a video about it. Please focus on explaining the concepts, installing and configuring... The only piece of HW i'm missing is the GPU. For now I only have iGPU from my 14500 CPU. Do you think it can work? Even if its slow? Regards from Portugal!
Yes I’ll definitely make an overview on how to generate your very first set of media assets on a self hosted invoke ai instance. I believe Invoke AI can work with CPU only but I haven’t tested it so your mileage may vary.
Hey Josiah! Appreciate it :) If you want to self host your own media then I'd look into jellyfin and plex! If you want to self host storage then maybe nextcloud. If you're into gaming definitely take a look at lancache. So many more out there though so remember to not get overwhelmed and focus on having fun! :)
Hi, how did you set up the AI stuff? Windows VM with gpu passthrough, and managing AI tools via Pinokio? or using Ubuntu Server VM with gpu passthrough and managing Docker containers?
It works but rendering can take a long time🥲 Once I have a proper workflow Im going to do some research on what gpu I should upgrade to. Any recommendations? 😇
okay but that's kind of a waste. AI art is not art man. I get the money benefit, but you could do anything else with it. I'm really not pro AI, so I'm kind of biased, but still. consider doing something else with your home server

That's actually on my todo list 😀 Any recommendations on what mini board I should use?

@@rjbernaldo_ I saw a setup with a Zimaboard and a PCIe SFP card attached that seemed neat!

I’ll make a video about AI + Unraid soon 😇 But wow that 4090 is a BEAST. You wont have any problems running AI compute tasks on that one.

Awesome video, just subbed kuya! I am working on my own homelab and trying to discover what apps to self host, any advice?

Hey! Im have unraid as my os (slackware linux distro) and use Invoke AI to play around with stable diffusion models. I run it on a docker container 😇
Nice content, you got a new subscriber! 😊
I'd love to see more about Invoke-AI
Hey, welcome aboard! Will make a video about running your own instance of invoke ai soon 😇
YOOO GAGGUINO GUY! Love that you're making this content now. I guess these hobbies sort of overlap. Great video. Keep it up!
Hey there! I actually still use the same machine. In fact, Im going to make myself a cup of coffee now 😅 Appreciate the comment, it made my day!
Want to know more about that RPG game 👀
Every AI video moving forward is probably going to contain bits and pieces of info as its my current usecase 🤫
INWIN 303 FANS UNITE
no way you run this on 980ti 😧

@@rjbernaldo_ rtx 4090 if you can afford it 😏
@@rjbernaldo_good to know! I have a 980ti laying around 😊Great video, thanks!
The HDDs stacked like that with no space for airflow is quite a stupid idea
Yeah it's not the best setup because it restricts airflow. I need to learn fusion 360 to fix this ASAP 👍

AI media generation is only a tool to enhance our own creativity. It cannot in any way be a substitute for human creativity.
