I’m telling you Patrice is part of the trolls/ogre network right along with William. Remember that encounter they had with the young lady in the bookstore? He basically trolled her
Patrice has always given me bad vibes and that scene especially. It bothered me how much he enjoyed putting her down. I thought I was being too sensitive because it *is* pretty funny and it was rude of her to criticize a stranger’s parenting but Patrice doesn’t have kids either and he literally was just complaining about Apollo bringing the baby along. I guess it was kind of a “how dare you insult my friend, that’s my job” kind of hypocrisy though that’s part of the irony. I thought Apollo was kind of a jerk too though, the way he didn’t accept Emma’s initial rejection (seven times!) and how he was unsupportive of her PPD and even the way he scoffed at his mother’s traditions and called the mom group a bunch of “old women”. And then after all of that we got the episode about learning from your mother, the way that men always don’t understand women so they’re afraid and try to take away their power, and how important it is to listen to women. And then Cal shows him what’s going on and he learns some things. I know with William there was a ton of foreshadowing that he was a bad guy. With Apollo I found out that I was right to think Apollo was a jerk and the narrator did too. But what will happen with Patrice? Is he a bad guy or can he also be redeemed?
Patrice also kept referring to Apollo’s “son” as kid and not Brian or even “your son”. He said “I’m glad you brought the kid”, “oh good you got the kid with you” and etc.
Oh good, someone else caught the double entendre of the coworker’s “Every little thing she does *is* magic” joke. The song title having that Monserrat connection with the music video and it involving a wedding proposal plus Monserrat having a connection to Obeah also tie it in with the Obeah Wedding song that plays in the flashback of Lillian fleeing Uganda with her siblings! Patrice looks at Apollo like “don’t” after he says the thing about the basement and before he can say that he’s afraid of something, so we never hear what it is that he thinks made Patrice afraid of the basement. The dark? Being underground? I think we’re meant to assume that Dana doesn’t know about his past. But now I see that’s part of what makes it so sketchy that he looked William up and told Apollo he was legit! I was wondering about the connection they had of both being ex military tech guys. And why there’s a 10 year gap on William’s resume that doesn’t give Patrice (or Apollo) pause. But then they both seem to try to turn Apollo against the other one and Patrice doesn’t like boats or the ocean. He doesn’t exactly interrupt the part about the funeral, Apollo says “thank you”, Patrice interrupts with “It’s just chicken” like he was thanking them for dinner and then Apollo thanks Dana for going to the funeral. But even if he *did* think that he for meant dinner and not for her attending the funeral, it’s still weird that he has the Tribute To Brian Kagwa page because if he’s the one who set it up then why does he allow Kinder Garten/William to post all those horrible things?! That’s what I was wondering from before, is why did the page not delete those comments? They’re unambiguously horrible. Even if Patrice didn’t set it up why would he not be demanding that they ban the guy or leave the page? @@ReelEnigmasandTheories I have watched them all but my all time favourite will be Coven and Apocalypse. NYC, 1984, double feature were kind of boring and felt like filler seasons. But this new season Delicate really have my attention like Coven did. I am hooked after the first episode. Emma Roberts does well in roles where she is a bratty movie star. She is just as bratty in real life. Adina Porter is really nice in person and so as Lakeith stanfield. I do stunts for movies and shows so I have met them all. @@Queenofdiamonds36 I may have to check it out. That is so cool what you do. I want to know how to get in touch with some of them for interviewing purposes.... Time will tell if that was Blackwood or not.
But here’s the thing two that you also missed out on there’s also white showing up quite a bit as well because William when he appears he wears white and there’s a few characters who aren’t dressed in white on the streets I’m thinking that white might be either symbolic of purity or something like that
Yeah, I remember thinking Emma and Apollo's outfits when they had that argument the day before she went missing were oddly white. Especially for new parents with a messy baby. Also: what was up with those overalls? They were super cute but kinda dorky.
@@BeckyEscalator there seems to be a theme with colors here and white either means a moment of time of purity or perceive purity before immediately shifting which I think William decided to wear black or something the moment he changed into his true form was like a darker blue
@@mattmetawolf8634 We haven't seen William's true form--or whatever one he's appearing as now--yet very clearly and I can't wait to find out what he looks like. I started watching the show because I'm a big fan of his actor, Samuel T. Herring's, band Future Islands and I was surprised by how different they made him look in the show. They made him look much older and heavier with the way he was dressed and they made him look much more bald than he actually is. They added some salt and pepper too. And the glasses make him look pretty different. I am so stoked to see what the hell they made him into now! And the symbolism is pretty explicitly intentional with him because Patrice sees him and says "beige on beige". Beige is a creamy light brown color but it also gets used as a synonym for looking innocuous. More than once recently I've seen it used to describe people who were trying very hard to look normal but concealing a dangerous motive! It works well as foreshadowing, especially with Patrice's needlessly harsh assumptions that he's one of those incels who posts horrible things about women online! I'm not as convinced yet about Lillian and Emma's teal dresses but they both seem wise and witchy to me. I think Emma is wearing a bright yellow dress as a little girl and then later she or Lillian wears one as an adult too?
@@BeckyEscalator no I get it but at the same time I do still think that whatever this William guy is supposed to be whether he’s kindergarten or straight up a troll which is a bit of a tired trope don’t get me wrong I like the idea of something original but I don’t think Internet troll/real troll makes it too on the nose like way too on the nose I would go with his TruForm looking slightly more monstrous but will have to see as for everything else We’ll see where the cards lay for everyone
@@BeckyEscalator Lillian does seem a bit off weirdly enough most of the people in both Emma and Apollo‘s life seem to harbor a lot of dark secrets I wish the season wasn’t as short as it was that way we can dive more into everyone else but I think the first half is probably just finding Emma finding the baby and then coming back then the second season will be something a little bit long the lines of what happens next between the witches and the fairies And that fall out if we get a second season I love to explore more of these characters to
Chapel and Malcolm Barrett kinda look alike - that's what I said to my wife. Glad I'm not the only one who feels that way 🤣 The homeless man and Apollo's mom's old boss definitely look like the same person, but they are played by 2 different actors, Albert Jones and Jamaal Burcher 🤔
I don't think Apollo's dreams are reliable. We already know based on what his mom told him that his dreams are not dreams but memories. But remember how Emma's sister didn't tell her exactly how the story went about the day when her parents died?...i honestly dont think what we are seeing in Apollo's memories are reliable and as with everything with Apollo his mom is the key!
Apollo calling William sweet aligns with emasculating his character. There are subtle touches of a power dynamic between men and women in this show. Men are gatekeeping money and women are gatekeeping sex. In episode five, when Apollo is talking to Gretta, he goes as far as saying “I am Emma’s” multiple times. Emma even wears a tie in one of the episodes. Women have been treated unfairly for ages and in my opinion, this show is making a subtle statement about the power of women.
I'm with you on this, I've been kind of pissed off about the sexism/gendered stereotypes of the show since the beginning and I was very pleased to see Apollo served some humble pie. Looks like the men are all Trolls and the women are all Witches. But you lost me when you said women are "gatekeeping sex". How do you mean? I know there's the whole patriarchal idea of sex as a commodity that women have and men have to earn (or steal, etc.) but I don't think that the characters really play into that. At least not deliberately or consciously. I don't think the author/narrator agrees with that idea either. I think he's made it very clear by now that the way men in the show (and most of the real world) try to control women is really messed up. Mostly I think "gatekeeping" implies that someone is unfairly keeping someone away from something and I take issue with that because nobody owes anyone sex.
@@BeckyEscalator I think we agree and disagree on some things. I agree that no one owes sex to anyone. After reflecting, I agree that I inappropriately used the term gatekeeping. The women in the show are not disrespectful, but are rather stern in how they turn away the men. In my opinion, this is done purposefully to emphasize sexual power and that women are in control of sexual access. Lillian and Emma obviously found Brian and Apollo attractive, but they exercised their power to say no and then the men are shown heavily pursuing the women. I don’t have a problem with that. It was just something that I noticed the author could possibly be illustrating. Emma’s excuse for saying no was because she was leaving soon. When she eventually granted access to Apollo her plan didn’t change. She still left him, so she could have said yes from the beginning. I will replace gatekeeping with power. Lillian’s employers are shown to have financial power and Lillian and Emma are shown to have sexual power. Later in the show, the women band together beating the hell out of men to illustrate more power. I am not arguing against it, I am just pointing it out. I believe Apollo did everything a husband and father should do. He pursued Emma, he waited for Emma, he married Emma, he honored Emma, he catered to Emma, he helped deliver their son, he helped take care of their son, and last but not least, he contributed financially to the household. He started getting rightfully upset with Emma when she began to display psychological behavior that even her doctor was concerned about. She nearly killed him and he is still in love with her. Please explain why that poor guy deserves to be humbled, hahaha.
@@joyfulgirl91 What proof did she have? She said a two-month-old baby bit her, she kept looking for photos that seemingly did not exist, she wrapped her window in foil, she refused to call her son by his name, and she was probably diagnosed with post-partum depression by her doctor, which would explain the medication. I agree that her knowing what he was doing with his son while out bookhunting should have triggered curiosity. But come on, the man has been beaten half to death on multiple occasions, and I just don’t see how that type of abuse is justifiable to some viewers because he did not believe her claims, especially after all the good he has done and continues to do. That’s like someone saying good morning every day for years and then suddenly missing one day and then being cheated on for being uncaring.
@@joyfulgirl91 Ah, I think I see what you all are referring to as humble pie. I was associating with him getting beaten to have his eyes opened, but now I think you are not referring to the beating, but to him simply having his eyes opened from talking with Cal.
I don’t think the library guy is blackwood.
@@Queenofdiamonds36 I may have to check it out. That is so cool what you do. I want to know how to get in touch with some of them for interviewing purposes.... Time will tell if that was Blackwood or not.
The same song was playing when Lillian’s brother was killed
And that's why it was cringe to play it at the wedding...lol... Do you think the library guy is Blackwood?
Glad I'm not the only one who feels that way 🤣
The homeless man and Apollo's mom's old boss definitely look like the same person, but they are played by 2 different actors, Albert Jones and Jamaal Burcher 🤔
I know MB personally and he hates when I tell him the same thing. 😂😂😂
They were casted like that for a reason. Maybe to throw us off.
Tell him I need an interview...
@@patrickfalls6819 he did not believe her
@@joyfulgirl91 What proof did she have?
If that is the case, I apologize because I was arguing against him needing to be beaten to be humbled.
I LOVE YOUR ANALYSIS!! Amazing ⭐️🥇🏆
Idk why, but everytime I see Ole blue eye, I swear her and Emma have the same laced flower shirt on
Definitely similar. Do you think the library guy is Blackwood?
@ReelEnigmasandTheories at first I was very skeptical, until I watched this video and now I really do think it might be him, especially after you showed other guy who was screaming it's not real! Looked like it could be him too.
You onto something brotha
@@foolsAmongstGhouls 🔍
But remember Brian was a parole officer- so they may have connections
You're killing it! Love your vids.

Oh-Bee-ahh ( obeah ) not oh-bay-ah. Dope breakdown tho💎

Brian takes and tells Apollo your coming with me and took him into the bathroom and shuts the door Lillian comes screamin into the apt running towards the bathroom screaming "im coming to get you Apollo" were did Brian take Apollo and were did Lillian have to go to het Apollo back, the water in the tub was running and a mist was coming from the bathroom was that a portal?
By Far the best breakdown out here! Subscribed!

Yo you funny as hell 😂 but your analysis be on point
💯🔍🤣🤣🤣 solid bro.
Anyone else notice Emma in Ep1 eating the apple aka forbidden fruit 👀
I love your analogies cant wait for the next one.
More to come!🙏 Do you think the library guy is Blackwood?
Patrice just didn't want his Dana to know his deepest fears. A lot of guys try put on machismo.
Do you think the library guy is Blackwood?
@ReelEnigmasandTheories If he is, then who would believe him? Former attorney or not, state secrets or not, they could say that he is another crazy, homeless guy and ignore his request for leniency on Apollo.
Bro make your logo a little bigger so when I steal your Images people Can See it😂 Because I just recently started a FB group for the Changeling and I got a lot of your stuff there because you and Teflon Tv be on point.
check💯... I gotta find this group...lol
What's the group name? I found three on there.
@@BeckyEscalator My Group Has Emma on the Banner in her Sorcerer Pose ,with 4 Changeling babies around her, and Apollo is at the Bottom holding his Baby or the Changeling Baby🤷🏿♂️🤣
If Lillians old boss got Apollo out of jail and hes now a bum how does that work? Unless it was a firm partner maybe?
Just subbed you really find things ppl don’t notice.
Congratulations 🎊. Oh can you cover the new American horror story. That would be awesome.
Hi! Pls put links to your merch in description box & your bio. 😊
Will do!!
Your breakdowns are hilarious! Congrats on 3k! 🎉
Im hearing to the website right now to cop my magnifying glass

Do you think the library guy is Blackwood?
I agree. The show is so much better.
Wow... good points

You went deeeeeeep! Love this review.
Glad you liked it! Happy to have you aboard. Do you think the library guy is Blackwood?
Wow as always your magnifying glass is on point! Great Theories. Bruh, Patrice does look like Dave Chapelle :D I hope he is a good guy, I liked how he was looking out for Apollo when he could sense he might have been contemplating suicide! He told him that he would put the book on ebay and see what price it gets and if Apollo was not alive the next day he would not know how much the To Kill a Mocking Bird original would go for. He also called his mother and she was at the house when he got home! That seems like a true friend. Congrats on 3,000 subscribers you will have 300,000 in no time! Your channel is lit!! Can't wait for more content and I will definitely check out the merch! Looking forward to the next episode both of the show and your theories! Peace!
also why was william standing on the shore waving his phone? that's how the people found him
Well from looking into the color red and blue mean in fairy tales and blue represents fairy and red represents death and blood
Late to the 🎉 🎉 Who is Gail? A librarian?
Why didn't Lillian put a spell on her boss so she wouldn't have to work on Saturdays?
If Emma is a witch what sorcery or witchcraft has she done?
The woman at the library Apollo confronted where not witches.
Patrice is dancing like an ese. Elbows up side to side.
It began with so much potential, but 6 episodes in, it's beginning to drag ... 🙄
Youre going full From on the Details, but i like it =)
maybe these were men who never lost everything on the getback of women. maybe they were all metoo'd but deserved it. I am not sure what the underlying message is and I don't want to ruin all theories by checking out the book...
Male entitlement is very much a subject of the show so far.
@@BeckyEscalator yeah but it would be boring and divisive is the moral is men are entitled and generally the bad parent, women are to be believe no matter what. It's gotta be deeper than that. Maybe hubris brings misfortune, be careful what you wish for and that your past traumas haunt you and pass to your kids if you don't deal
Look i lovvvee this review!!!!!!!
I love your videos, please watch tons of tv
🙏
I was just ready to say go live
8:39 😂😂😂😂😂😂
😅😅 r.i.p to paul #peewee
Ayyyyyyyyyyy 😂
Obeah pronounced O - beeyah (one syllable).
Such a great channel , please don’t ever fall into the wild ass fake / stolen theories like the Don….
Now that we know the lawyer (I can't think of his name at the moment, smh) is Apollos real Dad I am convinced that's him in the library with sensitive documents in his possession. I think he was in the library specifically following Apollo. Talk about the story coming full circle! I can't wait to hear your thoughts on episode #7!! I'm patiently waiting.
There is a reason Michelle was not at that wedding and she says "father of the bride..." I cant get over that. I agree that the old boss and the vagabond is the same person. What I don't get it how the "stevia/sweet" plays into anything.
Yes indeed. That or that is a changeling too. 😂… not totally sure how the sweeteners work in the storyline but I think Willie made might need sweets.
yo! I love this channel
We love you too! Fortunate to have you here.💯🔍
