apart from suggesting that you go in pairs, don't ☺🤗😉use axes or saws except for small, less dangerous branches, use a large manual titanium auger, light but resistant. like a bottle corkscrew! make a hole while screwing it into the trunk , use the shavings as pellets and then cut the edges of the hole,,, if the trunk is hard, turn the crank even in two! and small solar panels adaptable to electric heaters and induction hobs for cooking..😺
