Love your story! Thank you for sharing! I'm a speech pathologist and I'm glad your therapist was helpful to your daughter! Apraxia is a tough speech disorder to overcome!
Thank you for sharing your story! It’s something I’ve had in mind recently. I wonder how my inclinations and talents will eventually come together and make sense. So it’s encouraging to be reminded that whatever is meant to be will be. I’m happy you’ve found your path Lauren!💕💕💕
Lauren, I'm new to your videos, but I love your vibe, it feels precious. I relate so much to what you are saying ! You're the sister i never had 😂 And I love how you embrace yourself, it really shines. You radiate so much love. Thank you for sharing 🥰.
Not a therapist, but the you who "wanted to get away" sounds like an "inner teen" who wanted to get away from her parents. Like rebeling. You even said once you got to Dubai you felt better being away from them.
@@mirabella2154 Wow, Mira, judge much? Perhaps jealousy is your strong suit? Lauren is one of the most lovely, kind, honest, and sincere human beings in this space. Try a bit of kindness.
Either version is quite impressive. She has nothing to prove. The fact that she was a former mechanical engineer already demonstrates she has the intelligence, drive, and ability to work hard. Now she’s a beauty editor enjoying life doing work she’s passionate about.
but if she accomplished graduating from a rigorous program and made the conscious decision that she was passionate about something totally different why does changing her path take away that she did indeed become a very stem driven professional?
This is very motivating. 👍

From beauty editor to engineer would be more impressive than the other way round...🤣
Good thing I stopped worrying about impressing others years ago!
@@lauren.o.connell Judging from the video title and the video itself: Doesn't look like you did. 🤣
