You have a lot of great displays. Nicely equipped firehouse. That is great that you have a brush truck to assist other areas in need of Wild Land Firefighters. Consistency throughout the many different firehouse with apparatus set-up is a plus. Good way to create head room. This was a great view of how Firehouse 43 functions.
Shawn, thank you very much for your very nice and informative video on your fire station. Being disabled I can see things I would never be able to. Being a volunteer fireperson since 1978, I have never really seen what a paid firehouse interior looks like. I believe our county has approx. 35 volunteer fire depts and no paid fire depts. I really appreciate how detailed and specific you were with your tour. It really meant a lot to me because even being disabled I was able to understand and follow you during the entire video. When you spoke of 9-11 my eyes teared up. That time period was and still is emotional for me as the planes flew down the river right in front of our home. You covered that time very professionally. Thank you. Your station is very nice and seems to cover the needs of all firefighters there. Take care, God Bless, and thanks for sharing.
Hello everybody from 20-miles south of Cleveland, OH. I'm trying to get a job with South Metro as a Firefighter/EMT. Great Video and awesome tour of Station Firehouse 43. God Bless you all and thank you for your service. 🤓

Hello! I'm friends with Rodney Thomas. You guys are doing a great job building this channel and sharing all the content. Wishing you the best as you go forward.
As a former volunteer firefighter in Germany(25 years) it is nice for me to see how fire departments work in other countries. There is one thing that unites us all over the world: helping other people in need. Of course, the vehicles and tactics differ. But that doesn't change the common principle: rescue, extinguish, recover. Always come back healthy from your missions and thank you for your work.
Last time we pulled the numbers Engine 42 and Brush 42 responded to the most fires. That's likely due to their location with access to high speed routes in each direction. Anecdotally, Station 21 probably has the lowest income and highest crime in their first due area.

13:27 I've never seen a firehouse that doesn't have access to go either right or left out of the station without driving against traffic.
FDNY got a few of those
More response and Day in the Life vids please
Sorry we interrupted your cup of coffee 😆
What was the hydrant art at the front door?
It is an art project that one of the firefighters created.
STATION SATURDAY FIRE HOUSE 43
What firehouse of south metro gets the most fires? What firehouse serves the low income high crime area in this district ?

Just curious as to where you guys get those maps from?
South Metro has our own in-house GIS team. They do a phenomenal job creating maps!
Our stations don’t look like this 😂
