It depends on the size of your car. It's about 48.4*10.2*12inch folded. I can fit in my 2011 Prius, but it might not fit a sedan with a small trunk. You may be able to fit it in the back seat.

It depends on your needs. The VE1 has bigger wheels (16" vs 10"), so the ride will be smoother. It isn't as portable though. It is heavier, has a higher top speed, larger battery, and costs $100 more on Hiboy's website.

31 miles on a 500v motor and 10ah battery? What did they test with? An anorexic six year old on a glass smooth surface at 5mph in a perfectly straight line with a tail wind? The constant lies from this industry are just begging for buyers remorse and bad reviews. Hence why there are so many paid reviews or 'influencers' given free stuff to promote. They need to get together at the next trade show and come up with an industry standard for testing, some sort of test jig that is easy to make and places a reproducible load on the vehicles to simulate an average adult weight at maybe half top speed. Hey Colin, want to make better reviews? Fully charge the stupid things, ride them normally, report how far you got before it died. How long did it take to charge it back up? Do the pneumatic tire have tubes or not? How was the headlight? How was the acceleration? Is the motor really that noisy or do you just have a very good mic? Also it wasn't clear whether you bought this or if it was a paid or compensated (free scooter) review and UA-cam might hammer you over that. How does it compare to similar scooters? Etc.
Thanks for the feedback. I agree that advertised ranges are overexaggerated, and from experience I've found the actual range to be half. The scooter was given in exchange for a review, and most companies do not want their product compared to others. Since I work full time and coordinate limited free time with my wife and daughter to make these reviews I do not have time to fully test the range. I already spend a minimum of 10 hours per video emailing suppliers, unboxing, assembling, understanding and presenting programming settings, test riding, recording, editing the video and descriptions, and uploading FREE content to viewers. Many users have mentioned that my videos provide more detailed information than others, but I will take your suggestions to heart for future videos. The ebikes/scooters are fully charged before I test ride them, and the acceleration time is shown on the screen. I would say the motor noise during the test ride is fairly representative of what to expect. Thank you.

It varies by the bike/scooter. It doesn't look too difficult to swap the brake cables if the brake lever position is an issue.
