This draft seems deep at pass rusher, so that could wait until the 2nd and 3rd Rds. If the Titans were to trade back to No.3 with the Giants, it is because they probably are settling on a Veteran like Carr or Cousins. In that scenario, the Titans would be utterly foolish to pass on Travis Hunter. I might go bold and offer the Raiders the No.1 pick for their No.6 pick + Brock Bowers (whom they took in the middle of the 1st Rd last year). We could then get our RT there, and pick a WR in the 2nd Rd. With that move, you have dramatically improved the offense.
Im on board the brinker train. He is creating a great organizational structure. I particularly like the structure of the gm role. When you multi task, you lose something on each task. As far as the rooney rule goes, it should be illegal. It also seems like the outrage is overblown. I am also convinced if ran was an old white dude, nobody would care. No way would davenport carry water for an old white man. Buck is a flaming woke machine so the white knighting is mandatory. At the end of the day, Ran just sucked. If he was good he would be there still. If i was hiring there, i would think twice about hiring a minority now, well black, nobody cares about any other race, but i would be careful due to backlash if they fire them if they suck like ran did.
The way I see it, Ran had his special roll, and that was public relations. He got a lot of free agents excited about coming to Tennessee. He did good…. Not every player is going to pan out. That’s just the way it is…. If Chad is such a scouting savant, is he on record anywhere telling us that we should be wary of Will Levis this season? Did he say before the season started to anyone, we need a different guy at quarterback? Does anyone have him on record saying we need a right tackle? Because if he didn’t do that, then fire him too!!! They put out that vision statement and it’s the dumbest thing I’ve ever heard, so self evident it’s ridiculous! The real vision was supposed to be working together to create something special, with each doing this part with what their gifted at… Remember, it was about CULTURE building… And that takes patience and positive vibes. Not backstabbing! Not pointing fingers with petty accusations about sleeping on a.🤬 plane!! You can’t build good culture with people like that around… you can build a corporate, conveyor belt, kind of football operation, but nothing that has soul! I really wanted to see who Ran brought in with free agency this year. The AFC south is so winnable, with just a few more pieces we could be in the playoffs next year. This organization doesn’t deserve the playoffs. On a personal sidenote, I have to apologize to Nick Wright… before the season, he said this organization was a joke and we would be picking in the top five, and I kind of gave him the finger, but he was right and I was wrong… sorry Nick!
Abdul Carter and Penn State lost that game btw. Because the QB that everyone glazes pulled a Ryan Tannehill. If that doesn't tell you how much more important QB is idk what to Tell you
