My father was the original owner of this bike, he let me ride it when I turned 16 and got my license. It’s amazing all the records are still with it and the decals we put on the side covers!
Hey Nick! I bought a 2008 Triumph Bonneville after watching this video. My bike looks exactly like your Dad's but has stock exhaust and sounds like a sewing machine. I'd love to get the same pipes for mine. Do you know what kind of pipes these are? Thanks

They were Triumph Off Road Mufflers from the Triumph Catalog.

I own the 2006 version. Literally the same one, same colour.. Mine had 2300 miles when I got it a couple of years ago. It runs like a new one. It's a fabulous bike and definitely a keeper! ;-)
That was my dad's dream bike back in the mid 70s. He always wanted a 1970 Bonneville.

Fun video cool bike! I have a genuine G 400 called a mash 400 in Europe. Modeled after the triumph and the Honda 350 CB. Except the weight is only 350 pounds
You cant compare a chinese bike to a classic triumph. i had a mash 125 that looked like a norton, but rode like an fs1e🤣
The genuine 400 at 350 lbs And plenty of low-end torque makes it a whole lot of fun!! It has a nice solid smooth feel being that it’s all metal. Its only assembled in china to keep the msrp at 4400 but the bike is basically honda tolling with the legendary honda xr 400 EFI
My first bike was a 1969 650 BSA Lightning.In spite of the fact that it was the poster bike for why the British cycle industry went into the toilet, I have a serious soft spot for the Brit vertical twins.
Last year I spent months and months looking for a good deal on a late model T100. Could not find one. Ended up getting my other "gotta have it" bike, an Indian Scout. I love it. But I'd still like a T100 before I die.

Kaplan laying it on thick again. Who says they're $13,000 new? Actually the T100 is from $10,450, and in the UK is £8,900 on the road.
Somewhat accurate, but there’s taxes, and in the US, the MSRP seems to be a starting point rather than a maximum price like the retail price or ride-away price you might see in other countries. Even now it’s common to see a $20k Harley for sale brand new for $23k on the road.
Please do the Honda V65 Magna. Triumph are very well made bikes!

@@joepaulsen6594 I agree and regret selling my 84 V65 Magna. I'm on a 06 1100 Shadow Spirit now and I love it too although its not near as fast. Cheers Brother!
