Thanks for Watching!!!
My 99 F250SD does the same door ajar thing for over 10 years now!
That was a crazy noise you did great figuring out the issue
I had a 1555 gas that had 2 of the towers broken on it but nothing else was damaged and with a couple of used towers it was back to running in no time. I really dont know how they broke or what caused it but that was 14 years ago and I sold it and its still running. Bandit
Pays the bills. Good video Ross
Sadness yes but also a curiosity. I'd be digging into this too. Hopefully there will be a resolution of happiness.
Nice video Ross. So glad you can get it fixed up again . Glad its not as expensive as it could be. Nice job.
Awesome video, I thought it was going to be the distributor gear with a missing tooth, thank you for sharing your videos, I've watched about everyone of them
Someone laid a nice one wheeler on the way over. Must not have posi! Lol
That’s a nice square body truck ,Looks good shape.
I am always amazed at your expertise on those engines,I know you have been doing this for almost all your life, but still fascinating, thanks for all the great videos
Thanks for sharing
Those ford pick ups, had a recall on the wipers running on after the driver is gone and the key turn off and gone lol so ( look out ,some of them catch fire ,) ok thanks BigAl California
Ross what year is tractor, did have engine trouble and I'm thinking say you have transmission problems to? Thanks again answer my questions. Great video keep up good work. 😊😊😊😊😊😊
ive got a metal seed chart for a horse drawn superior drill and the copper name plate i nicked off one that was in the scrap pile at the scrap yard that were beyond saving but the chart and badge were worth keeping ill send em to ya when i find em
Nice video Ross, I have never seen an engine break a rocker arm shaft like that. I was betting it would have one of those split wrist pin bushings.
Martin tractor in Newville Pa should have used parts for that 😊
I’ve heard stories about broken crankshaft in the 1650’s that sometimes acts weird like that
I'd gladly buy a 1650 for scrap price that needed some TLC. They're good tractors. I was kinda hoping you would add another one to your fleet there if it was something major, but I'm also glad for your customer that it's not major.
Well, I haven't done near what you have on motors from tractors, but I must say I haven't seen that happen. I guess it was from over revving from the governor? Good luck on the fix for that, have a good day!
Parts grow on trees over at Losey’s place I’d talk to him. 😎 @That Oliver Guy
It's about harvest time, too! 😅
It's a Bluetooth rocker shaft!
My 3010 John Deere diesel snapped a rocker once & bent a push rod, when I was blowing silage.
Back in my day, we could rebuild that whole motor and labor would only be around $800. If you did not find crap like that that you have never saw before, being a Mech-an-ic would be boring.
You had it figured pretty close before taking the valve cover off. Wonder if he will put 1500. to 2000. into it ?
That's hilarious, not really, but one can either laugh or cry 😂😂😂. I'm glad it wasn't destroyed. I'd say he got lucky. It could have been way worse. 😂😂.
Nice video Ross
That is definitely a strange one Ross hope you can locate parts for it
Interesting! Would like to better understand the sequence of events that led to the failure?
I like it
You should write all these odd breakdowns in a book. I’m sure you have hundreds of.
Does have a gear driven cam or chain? Also, met a feed grinder like yours on 135 south of Salem today.
Ross, I'm thinking your super cheap super duty is calling you names 🤣🤣🤣 I'm kind of thinking that if they don't want to pay for the 1650 for repair I guess Ross may have another tractor and his future? Thanks Michael
All ways something bud fix
Just for your information, you mentioned on your last video that you might have to have knee, and or hip replacement surgery. You might not want to hear this, but the cause of this type of surgery is cause from to much sugar in your diet. Just go and ask your Doctor.
The excessive amount of sugar is causing the break down the the cartilage in the joints.
Interesting 😅
I bet you have one of those rocker assemblies from one of your parts tractors that you can sell him. He can probably get some more life out of the old girl especially with you fixing it.
Knock knock, is anyone home?
👍👍👍👍👍
Just weld it back together. Send it to Pakistan, and they'll fix it. Lol. At least it's an easy fix.
