Thoughts on the upcoming GX-31SP? Should I get it as my first GX-31? Will the chrome stay clean with age? The full chrome plate is what I'm worried about.

I love the metallic paint they did for the 40th... but I would choose the original 2006, just because it does away with the Panzer's stilted tank wheels, which the 40th and Respect versions have. I'm a crusader against kibbles. I've always hated them even with the Transformers, and the 2006 version had a good way of fitting the Panzer's wheels just like in the series. The Respect for me would be good to have to display side-by-side with the 1977 original version to showcase the generational differences between the two. I rarely keep my DX volted in. I bought the smaller Voltes V full action figure and found a way to suspend the 5 Volt Machines around it as if creating an action diorama that shows Voltes V both in combined and separate modes. But now that the VOLTES V: LEGACY is out, I want SOC to make THAT version. Definitely not the VV that I grew up with but definitely a complete badass of a robot.

I was head over heels when I first bought GX-31 back in mid 2000s that I finally owned a Voltes V robot: a childhood dream that was never fulfilled until that time. It was so precious that I hardly played with it (by playing I mean posing it in different ways and accesories). Just took it out of the box, gattai and put inside my toy shelf along with my other robots. Over the years , I notice it cannot stand straight anymore. Loosen parts here and there: the hand, the hips and the shoes. So dissappointed. If I had know that the 40th Anniversary version had better qc quality, I would have bought it. Anyway, just bought my DX Voltes V in December 2022. Still haven't unboxed it till now.

I own the Respect For Volt In Box version because unlike the GoDaiKin those stickers are actually tampo'd on the figure.
Respect shows the vibrant color and details from all of the robot versions
specially if you display them side by side.
