The Spurs do not need Reed Sheppard at 4. They need Stephon Castle, who is a much better defender. Castle can play either 1 or 2. He is just a better pick.
Zacharrie Risacher would be the best fit for the Spurs. But Castle is the second best fit.
I agree about Risacher, but I think the Spurs would be happy to get a shooter like Sheppard. Shore up defense with pick 8.

There are lot of point guards in the 2025 draft. Much better than Sheppard.

Castle is taller, quicker, and plays better defense than Sheppard. Castle is a strong name. Sheppard is kind of a weak name.
Washington should draft Sarr or Clingan. Clingan would anchor their defense day 1.
Or Castle no ZR.
Someone would trade up for Clingan...hes a rock in the middle

At 3 the Rockets will draft Clingan. If available he is the more valuable pick. Rockets don't drop for fit or need we drive best player available. Everyone knows defense wins championships, but unlike shooting defense travels. In the west especially the defensive big is more valuable
I don't see Houston wasting a third pick on a backup center/forward.
There's no way they're going to bench Sengun or Smith. And I would argue that defense used to win championships that is no longer the case given the huge boom in offense over the last handful of years. Just look at the warriors and the nuggets
