I really like that first floral dress, I'd just get some little shorts to wear under it and the athletic dress too. Junior size clothing isn't just smaller, it's made for less curvy body shapes than regular womens sizes so it's hard to get a good fit just sizing up. Fun video and I can't wait to see your Florida house all decorated!

Oh Angela, I always think twice when looking at junior sized clothing (unless it’s at-shirt) they don’t fit a mature women quite the same! LOL! The pink and white floral dress is so flattering on you and the high/low still looks great.
I do like a Hi-Lo but I just wish they would make the inside print the same as the outside! I feel like it cheapens the look when the inside is so visible and is just plain white. Super cute dress otherwise! Loved this video Angela 💕
I never got into high lows for exactly that reason. I also dont like seeing unfinished seams.
“Same dress but longer” is how I feel about a LOT of Walmart dresses…Fun haul either way.
BCBG is from New York. The price sounds about right. Usually high end department store range. Hip fashion :) I can see the hanger appeal. Good to see Bently. Loved your opening out fit, and black skort outfit. Very figure flattering.

I had a swimsuit in the 80's that was low in the front like that ... when I was a LOT YOUNGER!! I have to say I need a lot more support nowdays.

I bought the BCBG coral dress for my daughter as well as a black dress. They are a little pricer but they’re as cute as can be on her!
Loved the high/low dress as well. You can always alter it for a straight hem if it goes out of style!!

I bought the turquoise skort and love it, and the navy one too. I loved most of what you tried on. The very first shorts and lemon top were super cute, the first dress you thought was too short, but I thought it was super cute on you too. I didn’t think it was too short. I loved the oversized sunglasses, and the pink/white hi-lo dress was so pretty on you. It depends on what the hi-lo hem is on, and I really liked it on that dress. I liked most everything, but now I can’t remember some of it. I forget by the end of the video. Haha! I have to say though that everything always looks so cute on you. That was a great video Angela, as always.

Totally agree with your critique of pink and pinky orange dresses. They look boxy and unflattering, you have a great figure no need to hide behind boxy. I have to be in the right mood when I go clothes shopping or I end up with things that don't work. Re the high lo dress I find them to be very annoying to wear when I sit they open up and you have to be constantly placing your hand over it. Will put mine in donate bag.

The bathing suit, well, it’s pretty, but… Not sure if it would work for this one, but I bought a bathing suit at Walmart years ago with the same problem. It fit great, but was just tooo open in the front. So a good friend of mine just sewed the 2 pieces together to make the opening smaller and … less likely to fall out . In my case that worked great and I am still wearing that bathing suit today, many years later

Kohl's Croft & Barrow has a lot of skorts this year, mostly in prints but a few basic solids. Prices go up & down with every sale. They have a cute teal green tropical print that I had to order.
I love the Time & Tru utility shorts and now have them in 5 colors. They were $16.98, but I found them on clearance last week for $9.00.
A friend gave me fashion tape - love it.

Ok here we go. The first 2 dresses look really cute on you. I know a lot of women wear biker shorts under dresses and skirts instead of a slip and in case the wind blows up your clothing. The pink high low dress looks really cute too. The navy shorts are a no as well as the bathing suit. You could pull off the bathing suit but a little too low for me as well. I agree with you on the other items. Thanks for sharing.

That little black floral dress is adorable, but you're right, Angela. It's a bit short. Never knew Walmart carried BCBG! It is a high-end Max Azria (Max Studio) brand I used to buy at Bloomie's. That being said, I didn't like the $40 dress or the hot pink one with the ruffle. But I LOVED the Pink & White high/low dress!
This is a another great video, But I’m 100% with you on the high- low thing! I’ve passed up so many adorable dresses because I just can’t stand that-shorter in the front, and longer in the back.

I love the 1st floral dress. I'm only 5', so nothing is ever too short. Most of the items were adorable on you, but had flaws that could have been remedied by the manufacturer. BCBG used to be sold in Bloomingdale's and Nordstrom. I would expect more from them. The design flaws, oy!

If you like skorts, I know I do. The brand 32 degrees makes a skort that is just great, check it out . It's my fav. It's got a good stretch, nice soft smooth material, perfect length, and yes side slit pockets. So cute , comfy and versatile.

Get your sewing game on and shorten that short dress and make a tunic. You can even use new sew tape. It is too cute to not make it work. As for the hi/lo hem, I think it is a good look and that is why it came back from the 80s. And it would be easy to fix that bathing suit.

For the high/low thing, the fabric needs to be the same on both inside and outside.
The swimsuit looks cute. You can just stitch the front. 🙂 The pink high low looks great on you. And the skirt is cute. It’s more young then a “skirt” all the way around. No problems there. I would personally want that more waisted though.

I totally get it. You are correct on your take on every piece. Some one shorter & smaller bust might have a different experience with these pieces. Bcbg has been around for some time. Macy’s carried it. It is a little pricey. For Walmart the price has come down some.

I loved the little black dress with the floral print, but, yes, too short. The first outfit was really cute. Green is my favorite cockle and I loved the shorts. The swimsuit wasn’t too bad except for the front, which, you’re right, was way too open. Thanks for the video! Keep them coming. I really liked the sunglasses on you. The one tee is dress, you can have a bralette or cropped tank and also there are dress shorts so they can be so short not to see them or some biker shorts with it. I agree it’s such a shame so many swimsuits are so low cut. And yes I like skorts that look like Skirt all the way around. Congrats on moving to Florida. I will get there. The shirt with the tie in the front. As long as it will untie you could front tuck it (untied so not bunching ) but girl rock those sunnies 😎

I really like the last skorts that you showed...and I wanted to tell you I like your eye look in this video as well! I do have to watch some of the time and true things-they do seem to run shorter/smaller.

First I want to say I love your videos and you always make me smile. Now if you want to wear the pink flowered dress that you think makes you look like a football player (which it doesn't), wear a bandeau bra underneath it. I just bought a packet if three from Amazon to go under dresses and blouses. Also, for the bright pink halter dress, either purchase a cheap strapless bra at Walmart or wear a bandeau bra underneath or undo your bra straps and cross them in the back and re-hook them. Or you can always get one of those plastic disks that turn your bra into a racer back shape which will pull in the straps. I think the pink color looks great on you. And don't forget you can always belt this dress, which is how I think you should wear any dress shaped like this. The sunglasses look OK, I like big sun glasses. I actually like the bathing suit. I had a black one like that years ago and wore it on my honeymoon. But I know how you feel about being exposed. I was once in Sicily swimming with my family and when I came out of the water my bikini top had unstrung so that my father got a good shot of my chest. How embarrassing. I was in my 20's before I got married and I am 68 now and I still haven't gotten over the embarrassment. And the pink flowered high low dress looks great on you. I do not like high low dresses. I would hem it into a straight line for me.

I wear Lululemon biker shorts (the Align 6” ones) under shorter t-shirt dresses and any other shorter dress, that way I don’t worry about the wind picking up or bending over! You could also wear knee length/cropped leggings with it.
