You taught this technique in a fly tying class I had with you last month in Somerset, New Jersey(USA). When I got home I started tying some Catskills style flys and they came out looking so much better. I hope you come back next year too teach a another class. Thank you
@ there is a fly tying only show called the international fly tying symposium. It’s held in Somerset, NJ around the weekend before thanksgiving. Look for the website. Barry has been at the show the last 2 years
Brilliant video very helpful it would be great if you did a video about tying in jungle cock eyes ? I have searched online and there isn’t any that goes in depth ? I’ve been tying Irish Lough flies like the Gorgeous George and picking and tying in the jungle cock is a real pain lol I never know how many feathers to pull back ? Do you pull them all back or some of them ? Any help would be greatly appreciated !
It is detail like this that will take the quality of our fly tying to the next level. Thank you Barry, greatly appreciated!
