Set up a big tube of reverse magnets but at the end a normal one that is toggled to drag it over for a super fast sticky grenade launcher

@Ares Roberts Yeah I noticed myself while testing out some of my ships. No wonder Planetary Eclipse has an insane spread.
This is really late and the game has changed a lot by now, but imagine a max fire rate + triple shots + minigun version. It would lag a lot but it would be so satisfying. Especially if you have a load of grenade launchers and a battery-satelite
Make a SUPERNOVA drone, aka drone at 37:20 but more dedicated to imploding and then exploding outwards!

I have an Idea, make a drone that releases other, smaller, drones that either automatically enlarge the planet, or destroys it.
I HAVE AN IDEA: Make the lasers have -150 or 200% energy so that when you use them, you GAIN energy, then make the grenade launchers have sticky triple and machine gun bc you won't need to worry about energy PLEASE LIKE THIS SO LATHLAND SEES IT!!!!
Literally not possible because if I’m seeing this right you can only have 80% energy efficiency and 20% energy efficiency making it free. Even then you would have all 3 upgrade spots filled.

Andreas Hitt He could get -180% energy per laser and use other weapons with the same things so he could be rich if he had many batteries so next episode he could build a new drone and -180% lasers. * Sorry -240% per laser
JakePlays, as shown in the video weapons stats have a maximum (ex. 200 damage as shown in the video). this suggests that they almost surely have a minimum too

You should try using magnets to create a railgun to shoot weapons long distance without needing lifetime or shoot force upgrades to get them that far

You could totally make a tube of magnets and one stationary grenade launcher to try to launch it like a railgun
First, that’s a Gauss gun, not a railgun.
Second, the grenade would either glitch out or get stuck in the ‘barrel’
@@stuffandthings8999 first your wrong it is a rail gun serch the difference, second thats true there is a 99% chance that it will glitch out and third this is 3 months late
I don't think Lenz' law was incorporated into the physics of Nimbatus, therefore a railgun is impossible. It is a gauss gun, it uses magnets to propel a magnetic projectile. That's the definition of a gauss gun.

Alrighty Lathrix.
The way the percentage works is as stated below.
A weapon with 100 energy consumption, when using upgrades to make it -100% It equals 0. That is correct.
But when adding Minigun, it increases the %
So your -100, when the minigun starts it goes from -100% to -75% all the way upto the %300 that the minigun increases it to.
*from 100% to 400% i believe*
but max will be 300% because of the -100% from the other upgrades.

Nimbatus looks so promising and I’m really excited to see it in the future.
I have to thank you Lord Lathrix, if it weren’t for your videos I would never have known about this amazing game. The first video of yours that I watched was a nimbatus video!
What you need, Lathrix, is a world-clearer. And I don’t mean just destroying worlds, like the worm, but harvesting it too. Maybe flamers with low digging and a craft that keeps spinning around the world.
May I suggest, instead of cutting, to make timelapses of all the grinding, since this is a closed alpha, and that would show us how much grind there is currently?
That would probably also help the devs.
Also, percentages are most likely a single value, which only at the end actually apply. If you can find something with a fraction instead of percentage, that MAY work.
Psst Lath, the reason the minigun upgrade still uses energy is because it acts as a modifier to the energy percentage modifier. If you have -100% energy upgrades, and the minigun upgrade adds at most 200% energy usage, you can see that the energy usage of the weapon is doubled from its initial amount, so it acts like -100% + 200% = 100% and then that is added to the base energy cost

you can have an infinite amount of resources with the bio bomb launchers
Isn't there a node for Explosion radius? Miningun + Cluster + Radius = Win. You'd only need 1/2 the launchers

For the energie consuption I think it cost more than 0 because you have -100% energie consuption +x% energie consuption so you use x-100% of the base cost wich isn't 0 when x increase
Research ideas: Frag, Contact explosive, Split(on impact), Lasing(makes a star of lasers on explosion)

What I think that commenter meant was that the plasma lasers left a burning effect on the ground after and wasn’t just extra damage and going back you could verify that when you made the digging lasers last episode

Lathrix, how it works is it increases the BASE amount of the energy cost or the other way around. So if u have 0 energy cost, the minigun will still increase energy cost because its going on the base cost
I think using magnets to drive bullets is an idea with a lot of potential: if you use several magnet in repulse mode in the shape of a cup with the guns in the middle the projectiles will be able to travel very far and very fast; if you shoot slow bullets into an attracting magnet It generates a spinning Nightmare of death that attracts enemies into it's center. A system like that could be used as a "warhead" on the nose of a missile.
Lath.... It's time.. Grenade rail gun... Chamber of magnets, with one magnet at the end and guns behind it.... Let's see what you can do with it XD

I think when the blue and green resources are implemented, they will be needed for upgrades for weapon types of the same color and will replace the red resources if not plasma. I also think that soon the weapon types will become vastly different from each other.

Lathrix i have an idea put a magnet stick in front of your drone so you can keep firing the grenade launcher and the grenade launcher would circle around the magnet then the grenade launchers which are circling the magnet would explode when you go near enemies
For the grenade launchers have minigun, triple and clusterbomb (if this has been said oh well)
have a minigun, triple shot, and cluster shot grenade launcher, or make a mortar/railgun based weapon using the magnets
if you made the grenade launchers fixedand did some logic fiddling you could create a weapon that on a keypress shot grenades everywhere and then started to recharge for a second shot.
Rocket launcher: Minigun+Bigger Boom+Firing speed= pure destruction
