I accidentally rediscovered this. I thought this album was from a dream but as I go through the comments everything is coming back. So weird how this album found me in my two darkest times in my life.
About a year ago I was really depressed so for about five days I didn't eat at all and listened to only this album on repeat. It was an experience I wouldn't recommend.

Microwave, it's just... wow. It sounds like a chorus whose collective soul has been forever cursed into the shape of the appliance. The bleeps give you a sense of revolving, the sickening spinning of the cursed platter, the chorus humming through the fan of their horrifying new body. I can't get it out of my head, that imagery. It's been weeks. "You are a Microwave"
Imagine, you are a human, given the chance of a lifetime. A man in a suit, approaches you in your tiny, overpriced studio apartment, his suit clean and pristine, and he tells you “You are different. You realize how people have been wasting away, and though you have succumbed to the same temptation of hedonism and negligence, your mind is elevated. I offer you the chance of a lifetime, the chance for something greater. The chance to do something with your knowledge. I offer you immortality. When the human race fails and dies out, you alone will live to start a new race. Your thoughts will exist and be remembered for as long as your universe persists.” You accept his offer, and he leaves. For the rest of your life, you lead a normal existence. You marry, have kids, enjoy the simple things, though the man’s promise is always in the back of your mind. You come off as easy going, kind, relaxed. Nothing gets under your skin, and people remember you for being a nice man. But what they perceive as genuine kindness is that promise, still speaking in the back of your mind. You don’t let anything get to you, because you are better than it all. Sure, you’re wife may yell at you, you may not be a father to your own children, your carefree nature may doom your life, but at the end of it all, it doesn’t matter. Only you will live to tell the tale. Long after your “family” has died, the history that is recorded will be from your mouth. You may not be of importance in this life, but why worry? All that matters is the next. So, you wait for oblivion, eagerly. Eventually, oblivion comes, and while the rest of humanity finds comfort in each other, you rest, alone, a smile on your face, awaiting death, and it grips you. Then, you awaken. Your body is cold, and unfeeling. You can think, remember, reflect, but you can’t speak. You look around, or as least as much as you can. It’s your dark apartment. Through the shutters, you see the various dead bodies of humans you used to know. They are all dead. You see your former body. It is also dead. But yet, your consciousness lives, preserved inside your microwave. For as long as the machinery that created that microwave holds firm, your mind will be forever preserved. Trapped in a metallic shell, you must watch the world around you decay. Roaches and pests will over take your apartment, you will see them devour your body. Eventual the walls will collapse, and all you will see is the sky. Water and dirt will cover you, forever obscuring your vision. You will become buried in feces and dung, the remains of the human race. The sun will expand, consuming the Earth, but you will be reconstituted into elements, your intelligence trapped inside single atoms bonded together. You will forever drift throughout the darkness of vast space, the last image you were able to remember being that of your decaying world. Now all that’s left is darkness, and you sit in silence for infinity, awaiting the final void when the universe eventually collapses in on itself. Again, you can see, but all you see is blinding light. Can you even comprehend what that means anymore? But that man in the suit did not lie, your knowledge will persist forever. For the first time in a trillion years, you are happy. With the end of this universe, means the end to your tortuous existence. But death does not grip you. As the Big Bang occurs again, you are forced to watch in horror. Your dust is scattered through a newly formed universe, and you sit in silence for millenniums, before finally the energy contained inside of you is enough to empower and amoeba. The amoeba becomes a tadpole, tadpole becomes fish. You watch, but you cannot speak. You cannot scream. You cannot tell them about your plight. You are doomed to know. After a million years have past, you find a sight that’s alien but all too familiar. Your atoms have been made into a microwave, in the studio apartment of a lonely man. He heats up some ramen inside of you, and sits down to eat it. As he does, and bright flash is seen, as a meteor collides with the Earth. Everything that once was is destroyed, yet you still exist. Destined to create new life, only to see it destroyed again. You cannot move, you cannot speak. All you can do is think. After infinity has passed, what do you think about?
The atmosphere here is dark, obscure.. this album gaves me the same feeling that when i watched bram stoker's dracula when i was 10 years old.. a kind of fear.. a fear of the things i've seen.. but i keep watching cause it was so cool.
I used to be scared of this entire track, the sounds would scare me and make me uncomfortable. But this I can say. It doesn’t sound any less scarier I think I myself have become in tune with the scarier. I am the scarier that walks and breathes the same as a human being. Still Gets treated like shit like a regular human being. Never done anything wrong to another accept lie ALOT of times. Done some things out of anger and confusion you wouldn’t agree with. At the end of the day this track chose me back then because it knew that the very few that listened to it were the chosen ones to come toward the Truth of not themselves but the society they live in. To truly figure out if they can relate to such horrific sounds as these and feel at ease and calm and relate. Like it or not if your here and you like not what you hear but what you feel your just like me. Wanting to know answers and how to escape The question is do you really want to escape?
It's nearing that part of the year where I'll store every horrible thought in my head and then let it all flood my mind, nearly getting me to the point of suicide. Hasn't worked yet
