Damn. The dynamic between Fjord and Molly was so cool. If Molly had lived, (and other characters would've died because Jester would be the only healer), they would've been anime-style besties/rivals.
One of my characters encountered an enemy who used a blink spell once. Easily calculated where the enemy would blink after it blinked a few times, and hit it with a cone of cold. Wait, blink is supposed to be random? My character didn't know that.
And like Matt said in one of the clips, it was used in the previous campaign against Vox Machina in one episode and was incredibly effective, ultimately causing the death of one party member, so Taliesin in particular has a definite grudge against the spell.
Dean Nelson Kind of. You transport to the Ethereal Plane and transport back to the physical plane somewhere else. It’s not a "you're instantly there", though.
Nott - "Maybe it only works on the full moon."
Molly - "That doesn't make any sense."
Nott - "I know mythology."

In all fairness, I'd have expected Fjord to take Gift of the Depths at level 5. Seems like the kind of invocation Fjord's patron would grant.
