I love the Yellow Submarine. When things are crazy I sing that song in my head.
The crazy piece underneath the yellow submarine…she read “tangerine dreams and marmalade skies.” Those are lyrics to Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds. So the “trippy” vibe makes sense.
Most likely the same artist painted the 2 pics.

Tangerine trees and marmalade skies are the lyrics to Lucy in the sky with Diamonds.....Beatles. The price was displayed beneath the Yellow Submarine print and urban legend was that Lucy in the sky with diamonds = LSD which would explain the mind tripping nature of the work!
That's what I thought at first too, but the words she read out were slightly different - maybe weren't allowed to use the actual line from the song due to copyright. But I'm not complaining as I've now got a Beatles' ear worm, and that's fine by me lol 😀
I was also thinking it was a reference to Lucy In The Sky With Diamonds.
I think the pink glass "vase" with the hole in the top is for cotton (14:50). It used to come in a roll and you thread it through that hole and pull off what you wanted. Before cotton balls.
I remember my mother using cotton from a roll under the curlers to keep permanent wave solution from running into my eyes😂
What an incredible array of pieces. I like that round,dark, puckered edge piece. How unusual it is. I mean really!!! I thought what a yuk color. But then, if the color was a beautiful color the shape would be lost. I like enamel pieces too. Such a diverse lot.

I too think the mystery piece is Camark pottery from the way it looked on the bottom. I would have snatched it up in a heartbeat. Great piece!
I agree. My mother gave me a piece of Camark recently. I had to do a little research to identify it. The mystery piece has very similar markings on the bottom.

I’ve watched your videos and love them! I’ve gotten the impression that the “ Orange “really grabs you at the antique stores and thrift stores. It’s funny it’s not my favorite color but it also attracts me the same way. Am I wrong about that?

I too am attracted to the orange colors, as, in my mind most are very striking and tend to stand out. But, I could be wrong in thinking that it seems to be a color that is fairly rare to find...

I was at a local (since I live in a small town, anything within half an hour away is local;-) flea market a couple of days ago and had the pleasure of seeing uranium glass and its glow in person....Ive seen it on many many of your videos but had NO idea just how magnificently beautiful that glass is......its not until you see it in person that you can really appreciate just how incredible it is.....I was totally amazed and in awe!!!....thank you for another wonderful video!!...:-D
I love watching your videos because I live in louisiana and since Hurricane Katrina in2005 my family (& I’m sure all families in the area) lost all their families treasures and heirlooms because of flooding.. I see so man items that I can remember seeing in my grandparents and other family members homes growing up.. it’s also very hard to come across vintage items in thrift stores in the area when no one has vintage things and the few things with memories attached that they do have I imagine they wanna keep..anyway ur videos are great..

I am laughing so hard right now. At the wierd handled vase: usa 625. Me yesterday looking up my mom's USA 7007 pitcher because I didn't know what it was (McCoy) and my little cousin liked it. So what do I do? Pause it at the description numbers to look it up on eBay and the seller of the comp is the crazy lamp lady... lmao!
So I learned another new term today.... Frit. I just had to look it up. Who knew? Thanks to the Crazy Lamp Lady, now I do!

OOPS ! nope, I only wishfully remembered that...she is holding a jack-o-lantern, and a little grey cat with a black witches's hat is next to her....If I could go back in time, I would redesign her to hold a little black cat, and have the jack--o-lantern next to her!

I think the carved wood box may have been a feather box. I’m native and I have two of these boxes to keep and protect my longer feathers.

@@peggypeter8070 ceramic has a chemical in it so it changes colors based on weather. It goes from white to pink to blue when it rains and turns another color yellow when its sunny and green when its snowing. I was 3 when my mom bought one. So cute!
