The sofa with the piping is beautiful, but the back is too low so it would be uncomfortable.

I know you needed that. 💞💞 Because it’s hard to be married to a designer and not really have a big job except to follow commands. Haha. I love her work. But the “designer speak” makes me chuckle sometimes. When they talk about areas “speaking to one another”, I’m with Syd, it sounds silly, lol. Another one is when they talk about “mixing textures” and then name all the different fabrics and materials. You can go into every room everywhere and this exists no matter where you are. “Here at McDonald’s, you have mixed textures, including Formica surfaces, vinyl seating and concrete floors.” 😅

It’s simple speech. Rather than “evoke, compliment” and “mixing textures” is accurate- it’s “textile speak”.
I'm a big fan of design, and like most industries those in it tend to use a particular jargon, as when actors and actresses often use the word "craft" to describe what they do. Another word interior designers like to use is "juxtapose". This is not a critique, just an observation, and sometimes I find it a little humorous when I notice the tendency. Have loved Shea and Syd McGee's output since noticing their show on Netflix - what an incredible story.

There are picture frames that are two sided so one can put in two images, and the part holding the image’s swivels. I haven’t seen that particular frame in pewter.
