That white steering wheel boss looks fine as it ties in with the upholstery and keeps it from being too gloomy.
A little length of garden hose taped to the vacuum is ideal for getting the glass where space is tight
White airbag looks good in the centre, the contrast matches, stop over thinking it. Excellent video as usual, keep them coming

Airbag in the Fiat 500 matches the seats. Leave it in, save some money - unless it's a different colour - but it looks like a good match on my screen.

Went over ( into ) a pothole a few months ago in our motorhome which we live in fulltime. The oven front which is glass just blew up, it travelled everywhere. Apparently its produced under tension.?
Just replaced 2 x back alloys wheels as the potholes done their darsteadly deed again £ 950 worth.
Poor seal having super glue on its nose.😅

QUICK TIP FOR BROKEN DOOR GLASS
After vacuuning the glass out of the door spray the cavity with Wax Oil and there should be no more rattling.
That Ford Ka+ is an absolute bargain and a very clever buy at £175.00, even if it was a cat B and/ or not repairable because you'd make the £175.00 purchase fee back a number of times over just breaking it and selling all the good parts on ebay.

Thanks for that catch-up session Rob. It always makes me feel better when I have a purge on finishing off the little jobs that have been waiting for attention. Very satisfying, and Chris looks very satisfied on his holidays, he pick some great places to visit.
You both work so hard and spend so much time doing the channel and working you have to take time off otherwise you will burn out in some form. Take time on a regular basis and enjoy what you do but please dont get yourself sick or hurt. we out there for you and the magician. Take care and enjoy and last of all CRACK ON
White airbag on Fiat looks good
Airbag does not look out of place after all it is fiat reminded of my nephews car a punto light green paint with orange seats!
I suppose Chris decided to go there in a "Heartbeat " to visit Yorkshire Lots of restoration stuff seemed to be on view .Fiat 500 may of been best taking the door off and shaking it upside down to get the glass out 🙂
When I had a main Tungsten then later Halogen bulb fail, I always bought and changed both keeping the good one as a spare. As they aged or were different makes, light output would be different.

Camp Eden - I spent a day there, should have been 2. The place is fascinating. Not jealous Chris (much!).
That Ford Ka+ is worth what you paid for it in salvageable parts. However I think that Chris will get the frame machine onto it and repair it. At least the dash does not have to come out.

Breaking the Ka for parts would probably make most sense, but I would much rather see you guys repair it. Would be great to see it come back from being such a wreck.

If you come across the thread-lock situation again, get Chris's big soldering iron and heat it up and hold it on the end of the bolt until the bolt heats up as much as it can, that'll soften the thread-lock and make it much easier to extract the bold. Using the soldering iron is far safer than a flame type heat gun which is a fire hazard and discolours the bolt. I've never tried a blower type heat gun but have my doubts if it would get hot enough.

I think white for the central steering wheel is fine on the Fiat. I was watching a "Police Action" type TV prog' and they sometines cut the air bags to take them away for forensics, which might explain some of the cuts Rob. £175 is absolutely insane, it must be worth 20x that in spares AT LEAST. We had a Ka+ as the wife's car and shopping trolly. They're a blindin' little motor and sell for really good money. Definitely worth repairing after buying for that money.

Speaking from experience, I know it’s a ton of work, but the only way to really get all the glass out is to take the door off, and get it upside down.

My son has a KA+. Great little car. He's really attached to it. We bought it one year old from a main dealer on Aug 31st in the rain. Still worth more or less what we paid for it 4 years ago. You got a bargain there. Lovely well equipped first car for someone

Rob your seat belt Bolt is classed as a saftey critical part so will always have thread lock on them !!

I would have expected a thread lock on safety belt bolts. There’s obviously various strengths of threadlock for various conditions. Light solution for just light vibrations to high strength that’s not meant to be undone. Obviously Audi have came across an issue with those bolts slackening I some occasions and added a threadlock to solve it

Everyone else must have been asleep on the KA+, I'm stunned it started so low in the first place. I live about an hour from where Chris has been to, we live in a beautiful scenic area up here.

I've just crushed an older KA almost looked the same.
In Denmark it must not be repaired, even though it could have been.
Pulled out the Fiat-engine and gearbox, the right hand door and a lot of bits and parts.
I believe that engine will provide someone with a lot of kilometres, and the rest will be sold as parts.
I would have just the same as you did. You simply can't go wrong with that.
And the little Fiat is a nice little car probably with the same engine and gearbox?
