OMG we can't even deal with this guy right now lmao. We literally had to watch it again to focus on the van the second go round, too distracted by his dance moves the first time. Momma is AMAZING. Those cushions were perfect and made with love. Absolutely incredible van and personality. Love it. 💘
dude, I've probably watched 1000 Van video's and conversions so far and I can without a doubt tell you, in terms of bang for the buck build out, yours is #1, I just love the way you build, the use of wood is cheap and easy, no super special tools required... and the interior design and design choices, the fit and finish and the way things are trimmed out is PERFECT! UNREAL>
We restored and lifted an old Roadtrek but we wish it had a king size bed! (and fewer mechanical issues). I was really laughing at all your dance tricks! Very fun.
@@biglogan3690 lol the bed set up looks dope tho. We are going sideways again cause we are small people lol. I'm 5'6" and Alex is 5'2" for the extra space in the front it is a no brainer. This time around it will be able to move up and down and have a living area underneath. Half shower similar to yours and so on lol. I dont want to give away to much hahaha. Alex and I had and idea so im gonna dm you on Instagram let me know if you are down for it.
I’ve been searching these videos to piece together a can of my own and my Main concern was the bed , I’m 6ft9 and in these builds it’s all about placement , you did a great job and I will definitely use the retractable bed idea , great content man
This is a great build! I have been camping in RV's for years. One thing I noticed on this video is that you have RV antifreeze in your water tank and probably in your water heater. This is a huge no no. It is going to be a nightmare to get all of that out. To do it properly you drain you water tank and water heater then with a winterizer kit you only run the RV antifreeze through the lines. Continue on with the great build!!
Hey, you made great one. Just curious if your break light goes out, do you have plan to replace bulb? Just curious about that. You really rock. and that's beautiful. Cheers to you.
Big Logan...your build is amazing, I have literally mimicked your wall framing, board by board and am in the process of duplicating your solar build. I feel like i should name my van Logan Jr. Two questions, how much herculite did you use? And, did you use a fuse deal on the actual connection to your starter battery, coming from your charge controller(in addition to the 80amp breaker)? Ope 3rd question, if im not incorporating any AC/inverter at this point, what would you place between your battery and distro panel? Thanks for your inspiration and easy to follow videos. PS Momma Duke is a hero...love her!
Jasen my man! Let’s totally name your van Logan Jr.!! Haha the herculiner kit came with a 1-gallon can and I only used 2/3 of that. No fuse (but yes 80a breaker) between starter battery and charge controller. Total up all your DC loads (amperage) and add 20% to a master shutoff breaker. You will be glad to have a reset breaker to isolate you DC distro. Good luck!!!
@@biglogan3690 how much do you think the build will cost? Say have wet bath/kitchen and good amount of power for boondocking. Curious about this as I want to diy as well. Say van is 60k already.

10:45 Like for this!
Sorry if i missed it, but what mattress did you end up using? do you have a link to it? Thanks!
Sorry I should have linked in description! Lucid 5” King Memory Foam. Very light weight for its surface area! Choice mattress of Freedom Vans FYI.
is this justa 159 wheelbase hightop? not extented right?
Correct! Transforming Twin to King makes it feel big!

Would love to see you build using the Ford Transit.
If I can get my hands on an AWD it will def go down in the future!

Would have been cool to see a little more detail on how the upholstery.
Something tells me you drove your school teachers crazy. Just saying. Awesome vid and love the expandable bed.
Yes and yes! My lovely mother taught me thru 7th grade! She is a trooper!
