Our Ancestors went through hell and back for more generations than anyone can imagine who did not go through what our Ancestors had to endure on a daily basis 24 hours a day 7 days a week from the cradle to the grave. I did not have be there to Feel the pain and torture that our Ancestors went through. To finish i would like to thank Mr. Byron Allen to have the forethought and unshakable Vision to undertake the generational wealth gap that exist to this Day. @20:03 I disagree that it's not about the color of your skin. It's always been the color of your skin. How do you explain people who passed for white? What about using our skin to make shoes after killing slaves? Melanin is the reason we could work in hot weather. How do you explain being scared to compete against people that come from the same ethnic group. So, did I just agree with Byron? Is it about your tribe and ethnicity and the tone of our skin? Anyway, Byron know it's about being black because he said it at @22:14 ......come on now. This idea that it is not about race is confusing, because it is not absolutely true , when they say it is about money and then say we were assets in slavery but a liability in Jim crow, that is confusing. What makes us a liability? Why are they afraid? Why don;t they want to share?
And last, during Jim Crow we were used to maintain capitalism, prisons are low income workers.
We can’t imagine that our race is important, because it is not important to us. But white people want to maintain power and there are laws that designate color with power, look up Virginia Laws after Bacon’s Rebellion.
It is hard to believe that we might actually be superior.
