Thank you for this! I’m booked for 8710 & have been feeling much regret, as everything is sold out on my sailing and I wish the room got more light. But hoping we enjoy it anyway! I couldn’t find this information anywhere so thank you ☺️
booked Deck 12 room ocean panoramic view without balcony near front of ship. If is super noisy with pool, movie screen, and band just one deck below? Room 1816.
We just booked one of the new spacious ocean views you mentioned and I ended up on your video looking for pics of our room lol guess it will be a surprise!
@@mackennasmusicchannel1988 yes! Absolutely if I can’t get in one on my sailing. I honestly think those will be amazing staterooms. If you have kids, the location is perfect
We only sailed on 1 cruise when my son was a baby and it was for his first birthday. We chose to wait until he was older to sail again for a variety of reasons. So I don’t have much experience.
Being near the elevators is a good thing. Noise is rarely an issue. They are situated in a way that it doesn’t make a difference. It’s not like a hotel
How are rooms where the door is directly facing out to the elevator lobbies? Is it loud, or do they have closing doors to the hallways at night? I just got upgraded to this balcony one but worried now I won't be able to sleep
Not loud at all. It’s not like a hotel. There’s a good separation between the hallway and elevators. Being by the elevators is one of the most desirable locations
I believe they always have. I've had it for years and I do the 3 year option. A website like that isn't easy to maintain and I think the fee is reasonable. For me, it's a small price to pay to not have to go searching for pictures myself. But if you don't want to pay, you still have access to the deck plans.
There are connecting staterooms that are not categorized as such. I only went over the ones that have that distinction like CI, CP or CB. Otherwise the video would be 4 hours long.
Hey Shannon!!! Thank you so very much for this video!! Booked our first family cruise with 2 connecting interior promenade view staterooms!
Wonderful! Have a great cruise. Freedom is a great ship. We are booked on her in 2025
@@ShannonFord thank you and wishing you all the best for your cruise on Freedom in 2025!!
Thank you! I really appreciate that you broke it down into distinct chapters so that it was easy to skip straight to the one I needed.
You are very welcome. Hope you found it helpful!
Great Job! The information is precious
Thank you
This was a WONDERFUL video. This will be my first cruise with children and you helped me pick the room! Thank you!
Wonderful! I love to hear that! Have a great time
Thank you for sharing 🙂 looks like fun
Thank you so much.
You're welcome!
Is cabin 7646 on the hump? Your video is amazing.
Thanks. Yes it is. on the side of the hump, but also right near an elevator. Excellent location.
@ShannonFord Thank you sooo much for your prompt response.

Awesome! Congrats

When is your cruise? I’m hoping to try and get access to one to film
@@ShannonFord 1/17!
@@mackennasmusicchannel1988 LOL. We are on the sailing just before you.
@@ShannonFord Aww bummer! If you want me to make a video or take pics let me know 😊

Have you done a video on bringing a baby and what is available

Tysm!
What about noise being in the Jr. Suite right near the elevator?
Being near the elevators is a good thing. Noise is rarely an issue. They are situated in a way that it doesn’t make a difference. It’s not like a hotel
@@ShannonFord ok, just curious. I figured the volume of people waiting or congregating, and potentially the staircases, could create some noise.

Informative video, but it looks like the web site you mentioned is charging for membership now, $8.99 a year to see actual room photos.

also how late is pool open?
That, I have no idea
Deck 7 also has Category CI (interior connecting) stateroom.

There are....not there is...when you are talking about more than 1 cabin...🙂

There’s no “floors” on ships. There’s only decks.
