Yes Promenade AND Central Park “View” cabins are a great choice if you are price conscious! I have sailed in a few the past year & have at least one booked in 2023 . TY for the tour 🥰
That vent-fridge was cracking me up since it was installed like that instead of venting to the floor. Great that you showed it. I haven't seen that in a cabin before. Also, the people watching from that view is probably a lot of fun!
I love the Promenade rooms. It is fun to to watch the parades and people watch on the Promenade. I’ve never really had a problem with the noice and try to get the 8th floor. I’d rather spend my money on dining or in the casino.
I like these staterooms as a compromise between an interior and an ocean view. I enjoy checking out the action on the Royal Promenade from time to time. As for bathroom tissues, on one of our 2022 cruises our stateroom attendant suggested that they had stopped stocking tissues in the bathrooms because some guests were flushing them and clogging the plumbing system. Putting them in a stateroom drawer apparently reduces such occurrences.
@@TheWeekendCruiser I never confirmed that with the hotel manager, of course! And it did seem odd to me that they just took that measure starting last year, when they've been sailing for over 50 years. Hard to imagine that this just became an issue in 2022.. But that was the explanation we got...
haha that one goes quick! Though, I remember reading somewhere it has lost it's Ben & Jerry's perks... :-( Interestingly, never had Ben & Jerry's on the ship. Worried I might start ordering it every cruise!
Thanks for the room tour! We actually just got this room assigned to us through the Royal Upgrade program. This is our first royal cruise, so never been in a room laid out like this. We’re looking forward to a new experience. I think we will enjoy it, what’s not to enjoy when on a cruise ship,? 🎉 However, if for some reason we don’t, it’s only three nights. Lol
hahaha you have the correct mentality Brant! You are going to have a blast and you will see how little you are truly in the room on a 3 night sailing. Depending on the date, I might see you there!
@@TheWeekendCruiser Just reading your comment now that we are back home, funny that we did run into you! We met you there at the elevator coming back on from Coco Cay. Good stuff! Look forward to more videos, take care.
Decent size for a short cruise. I love the extra seating in this cabin, especially if you were traveling with a partner/friend. Wondering if those beds could split to twins??
I think the Kleenex dispensers are only stocked if they are not too close to the toilet for sanitary reasons. At least that's what one of the cabin stewards told me once.

Oh yes, I will def book a central park balcony over an ocean view for the cost savings. MUCH cheaper sometimes.
Hey Brandon, thank you for another great room tour.

People watching might be the best! Especially, if outside of Sorento's and you happen to be still awake late at night!
@@TheWeekendCruiser Yes. Those drunk folk are entertaining!
Great tour!! You have a super channel. Keep up the good work!!
Thank you Travel Scouts!!! Greatly appreciated!
Interesting. So much better than inside. Thanks. 😊

Hey Brandon, Merry Christmas and hope you have a prosperous 2023.
Same to you Brent!
@@TheWeekendCruiser Thank you.

Huh, that is an interesting tid bit on the tissue situation! Had never thought of that!

You'll have to try for cabin 6305 one of these days, the Ben & Jerry "Sweet," and give us a tour. :)

They sure can! They move the night stands in-between the two beds versus being on the outside.
Oh, I like this room! Is it much cheaper than an oceanview cabin? What a novelty looking into the promenade!
It is really a nice room and a step up from interior without a hefty price tag.
Good video
Thanks Deno!

Huh, I would never have thought of that! Very interesting and now I have even more questions haha!
Are there power outlets next to the bed?
There are not power outlets next to any bed on Freedom of the Seas. This is a feature of newer ships.
We will be on Freedom on 1/23. Are you going to be on board?
I will not be! :-( I have moved over to Liberty of the Seas for a few months and will be there. Back on Freedom in May.
about what size is the big sofa?
Probably three or so feet if I had to guess? Enough for two people to sit. It's also deeper than it looks.
Are the windows "one-way" or can people see in to your room and see you looking out?
People can absolutely see into your window and you will be able to see into theirs.
I had my first cabin like this on the Adventure about a month ago. Really didn't like it. My view was guest services....
oh yeah, that isn't too great of a view. Just see upset folks lined up all day 😂
