BBC World News Breakfiller Idea (2001 style)

Here is the first project of mine connected with BBC graphics, the best TV graphics design I've ever seen :) It shows my version of breakfiller before BBC World News TOTH (without trailers); it contains: time check, world news, markets news, coming up and weather forecast. Inspired by Martin Lambie-Nairn, I've tried to combine music and crimson colours from 2001 and new fresh look and modern elements form 2008. Of course, made in AE 7. Uploaded after 10 hours of rendering a 16GB file :)

Oto mój pierwszy projekt związany z oprawą graficzną BBC - najlepszą oprawą jaką znam :) Jest to moja wersja breakfillera występującego przed wiadomościami w BBC World News; składa się on z elementów takich jak: sprawdzanie czasu, wiadomości ze świata, giełda, informacja o kolejnych programach i pogoda. Zainspirowany pracami Martina Lambie-Nairna, próbowałem tu połączyć muzykę i czerwoną kolorystykę z 2001 oraz nowoczesny wygląd i elementy z 2008. Oczywiście wykonane w AE 7. Wynik 10-godzinnego renderowania 16GB pliku :)

This is quite a good first attempt. The background suffers a bit from the static outer rings, and the transition between segments should include a movement of those outer rings.
I would also avoid the transparent text in grey, as it does not show up well with the red behind it. And the text should not touch the edge of the screen, as some TVs will cut this off.
Nice ideas, kind wish I had thought of some of these! :)

Very nice. The best part about the BBC 2008 package was how simple the design was but how good it works onscreen. Have a thumbs up.

Nice job! In generall I think it's better than the actual one from BBC. The only thing that I think it needs to be improved is the transition between the different themes but maybe you would need some software more complex, I don't know... But congratulations, it's really nice!

Too narrow, would have been better to deepen the graphic to cover the BBC logo and incorporate it within the artwork.
